WASHINGTON — One of the architects of the deadly 2012 attack on the US consulate in Benghazi, Libya, has been arrested and will be prosecuted on arson, murder and terrorism charges, Justice Department officials announced Friday.
“ Zubayr Al-Bakoush landed at Andrews Air Force Base at 3 a.m. this morning. He is in our custody. He was greeted by [FBI] Director [Kash] Patel and [DC] US Attorney Jeanine Pirro,” Attorney General Pam Bondi told reporters at DOJ headquaters. .
Prosecutors “will prosecute this alleged terrorist to the fullest extent of the law,” Bondi vowed, while Pirro said she and her team “will not stop” hunting down other attackers who remain at large.
“Hillary Clinton famously once said about Benghazi, ‘What difference, at this point, does it make?’ Well, it makes a difference to Donald Trump. It makes a difference to those families,” Bondi said Friday.
“And 14 years later, it makes a difference to law enforcement.”

Mastermind behind Benghazi attack is Hillary Clinton and I don’t think she’s arrested - yet...
I will wait to cheer until she puts someone in the establishment in jail.

But I’d rather see Hillary in a jail cell.
I approve that trade.
I read a very tediously boring book by Sarah Adams in which she catalogued every known player in the assault on Benghazi embassy.
The book may make for some sloggish reading; but I really learned a lot.
She is a former CIA targeter who knows a lot. She still grieves over her colleagues who were murdered. She writes about the intense internecine murders committed, muslim faction on jihadi faction over “territory” and control. I was shocked to learn how involved Turkey is in harboring these assholes. I shouldn’t be shocked, though. Turkey is no friend of ours.
How about the aster mind behind the 2016 election?
The worse part of that was what she said before that sentence.
That statement was predicated with her saying, “ whether it was a video or just a couple of guys that decided to attack Americans...”
It was a full blown military attack with artillery.
Interesting that the indictment has been sealed since 2015.
Met Sarah Adams years ago of Benghazi fame and she said they didn’t want the ambassador there but he traveled to Libya in preparation for Hillary to go there to do a victory lap for getting rid of Khaddafi. Had dinner with her and then interviewed he for about an hour.
Harold Stassen will be more relevant than Hillary in history books.
Hillary may well be more relevant in the “crimes committed by politicians” ledgers.
Having referenced the Trump Library I began to reflect on how important that is to inoculate the future.
Many will comment on the money or the building etc.
But think about the message Trump will send into the future.
It ain’t bragging if you did it.
