Teachers’ unions have hijacked classrooms across the US to indoctrinate students with far-left propaganda

A wave of school protests sweeping the US in response to the fatal shooting of two anti-ICE protesters in Minnesota has revealed how teachers unions have weaponized classrooms for their own left-wing agenda.

The unions have revealed themselves as political operatives more concerned with indoctrinating kids than teaching them reading, writing and arithmetic.

These disruptions didn’t materialize out of thin air.

The teachers’ unions fired the starting gun by blasting out anti-ICE propaganda to teachers, urging them to rally against immigration enforcement and turn schools into battlegrounds for their partisan fights.

The National Education Association is also pushing teachers to print out immigration-related political propaganda posters and put them in their classrooms.

Teachers’ unions across the country, including the Iowa State Education Association, posted on their official social media accounts a call for teachers to wear blue at school on Jan. 23 to protest ICE and “stand with Minnesota.”

And the Washington Education Association pushed teachers to attend an anti-ICE training hosted by the NEA last month.

In plain sight

The unions’ fingerprints are everywhere.

They organized and promoted the “No Kings” protests, railing against immigration enforcement and tying it into their broader anti-Trump hysteria.

And let’s not forget their support for the anti-ICE rioters in Los Angeles

In June, protests against mass deportation raids escalated into full-blown riots, with clashes between demonstrators, the LAPD and ICE agents.

American Federation of Teachers president Randi Weingarten released a statement attacking President Trump’s decision to deploy troops and NEA president Becky Pringle even rallied the anti-ICE protesters in Los Angeles.

At their annual convention in Portland, Ore., last year, the NEA passed resolutions explicitly pledging to combat Trump’s “fascism” and his agenda.

No **** Sherlock.

Let’s get angry vote and watch nothing happen.

Is there something better to do?

Getting angry tonight will likely lead to some sort of intoxication even sex with oneself.

I spent 22 years in school as a janitor saw plenty from that perspective alone.

I really need to change myself so I can help others forget the drama that goes nowhere.

At least 90 years ago.

Nice of you to finally notice.

Welcome to the foxhole, the enemy is to your front and left.

We were told it was not actually a problem.

This was followed by being told that we were actually the problem.

So we left.

Someone needs to make a photo album of present day teachers. When I was a kid you had to pay good money to get into the circus. Now you just need to enter a school room. Tattoed ladies. It’s free.

“Teachers’ unions have hijacked classrooms across the US to indoctrinate students with far-left propaganda”

Don’t see a problem with that, as long as the schools are FREE, I have money freed up to buy that nice house, with the nice F150, and the nice boat, ooooh that nice boat! As to my kids, the indoctrination will be their problem - but I get the boat!

(pretty much how most Republican voters think as they send their kids into those hell-holes in those big, yellow, buses)

There’s a reason (A number of them) why I retired from teaching in Virginia. Nobody believed me then. Believe me now?

Unions suck. Nothing but gangsters and thugs. They all need to be shut down. My opinion and I’m sticking to it. Never worked for a union because I only wanted to work for myself. Not a bunch of slobs, thugs and scabs.

American kids are no long learning. The politicians and their thieving illegal aliens are only “teaching” learing these days. And the kids are having problems because they can’t speak or understand Somali.

Must have been because that’s about at least as long as it’s been going on.

IMO, it likely happened in the early 1900’w with Dewey and his ilk.

I'm 89 now, and have seen it all.

In my time, NEA was not a union, but an organization of professionals, respected by the community and known to be highly moral and ethical. But after WWII, which was followed almost immediately by the Korean Conflict, four primary liberal influences came to eventually dominate the educational sphere:

-- the G. I. Bill (people still angry with God for their war experiences)
-- John Dewey et al. (Marxist humanism)
-- Benjamin Spock et al (beginning of "wokeism" in de-parentizing of children)
-- Karl Barth et a.(liberal anti-Biblical de-Christianizing themes in ministerial training)
It is my observation, through having direct experiences in university life as undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral years alternating back and forth with corporate employment, that the source of demise of our country's educational process comes partly forth from the tenure schemes of universities, carried over to the public/private schooling of minors, a process that perpetrated the overabundance of the presence of destructive philosophies amongst educators in all spheres.

The problem was that ""educators"" primed with Darwinistic-atheistic socialism, a mindset that became predominant at the highest levels, became a "protected species" a personal status unable to be dismissed on the basis of their destructive teachings that have influenced naive students, as well as affirming those thus indoctrinated.

This "freedom of speech" when unbounded brings rather their increase amplified by positive feedback, by more and more influencing who could survive the exclusive tenuring process, at the same time discarding those who would bot be permitted to use that freedom to stand for morality and acccounabilty for the outcomes of ones theories.

That is, "freedom" of thought and speech has limits to its profitability, which if the limits are not exercised (and tested), lead to anarchy of thought and behavior. The tenuring process removes those limits entirely, and has thus showed itself now of being very disadvantageous.

So, you folks, tell me where my deductions from observations are wrong. (And I'm speaking as a retired PhD-degreed engineer and research scientist in both academic and business corporate spheres, and a long-term student of the Christian Bible, its Author, and His applications for it.)

Right. I suggested cameras in the classrooms when cable access channels became available 35 years ago. Teacher unions have been sanctuaries for commies and perverts forever.
