Alex Pretti has been all over the news since he was shot while engaged with Customers and Border Protection officers in Minneapolis. The fury over CBP and ICE in the dysfunctional city has leftists attempting to elevate the armed insurgent’s status to a combination of martyr and saint.
MS NOW took their brainwashing to the next level by adding beautification to the mix. They heavily enhanced his headshot and displayed the new and improved Pretti on Nicolle Wallace’s show.

All photographic lenses produce distortion, and the photographer can somewhat reduce this by carefully choosing his lenses and the distance from the subject.
The lens correction programs found in most photo-processing programs are a great help. Personally, I like the Capture One program. I automatically do it for all of my photos involving people.
Also....I believe that all serious photographers should try to enroll in as many art courses as money and time will allow. Learning about the proportions and underlying structures of the face, head, and body helps prevent easily corrected mistakes.

"What’s the frequency, Kenneth?" is something that was supposedly said by one of the people who was supposedly beating up Dan Rather on a sidewalk in NYC.
That's according to Mr. Rather.
The assault happened soon after Mr. Rather was caught out when he went national with a fake news story about how George W. Bush supposedly tried to use his connections to shirk duty in the Texas Air National Guard.
The assailants were never (to the best of my knowledge) caught.
A FReeper played a significant role in unmasking Mr. Rather. His FR name, IIRC, is Buckhead.
Of course… That could be some television series star or something like that, and I would have no idea.
My wife made fun of me one day, but I came home and walked through the living room with the TV on, and my wife was watching some show. I asked who it was (since everybody seemed to be paying attention to some busty woman with dark hair) and she rolled her eyes at me and said… “That’s Kim Kardashian…“
Oh, the question “What’s the frequency Kenneth?” gained such currency that 90’s rock band R.E.M. turned it into a song, which actually got a little airplay, at least where I live.

Yeah, that’s a joke. That’s the heartthrob male lead for a very popular hospital/medical show called Gray’s Anatomy. No idea what his name is. My wife watches/watched it some, so I recognized the joke immediately. It’s pretty funny.
You are correct on that last, and Buckhead has not been active here for quite some time.
He was engaged as a defense attorney for one or more of the people charged in Fani Willis’ political prosecution of Trump. There were a good number of other people charged in the case, around a dozen IIRC. All dropped. I hope Fulton County ends up paying everyone’s attorney bills, it would serve them right.

I probably should have mentioned that the Dan Rather fake news incident happened in September 2004, during the feverish run-up to the Presidential election, in which John F. Kerry attempted to beat incumbent President George W. Bush.
Oh, and with regard to the expression “fake but true,” that was the lame excuse that was made about the fake story, either by Dan Rather, or by his assistant Mary Mapes, on whom (again IIRC) Rather tried to fob off blame for the scandal, which pretty much ended his career. He was, as you can imagine, fairly upset about the whole affair. He thought he was going to single-handedly knock Bush out of the running, and give the election to Kerry.
Yeah, the jackwad has to visit all the threads on this.
