Do you know where fake but true comes from?
No, I don’t. ( curious)
I like the expression “fake but true” as applied to photography. There is always some lens distortion, even with the best computer correction programs. The best a photographer can do is eliminate it as much as possible. The “true” is always elusive.
So?...If I were to use a photo for the “10 Most Wanted List”, I would choose the one on the right. He would be more likely to be recognized and caught.
