The wife of a prominent lawyer was one of six killed in a horror private jet crash on a snowy airport runway.
Tara Arnold, 46, wife of personal injury attorney Kurt Arnold, died along with several of her friends on a girls' trip to Paris.
The Bombardier Challenger 650 business jet went down during takeoff from Bangor International Airport in Maine about 7.45pm on Sunday.
Dramatic footage showed the burning wreckage of the plane upside-down on the runway. Flight data showed it veered right during takeoff and flipped at 175mph.
The FAA earlier on Monday incorrectly said there were eight people on board including one crew member who survived.
Tara, a commercial lawyer with decades of experience, worked at her husband's law firm, Arnold & Itkin, since it was established in 2005.
She and Kurt live in an $11 million mansion in Houston with their two children, Jaxon and Isla.
The top Houston firm, to which the downed plane was registered, is known for defending undocumented migrants.

I am appalled, disgusted and disappointed at some of the comments here. A mother of two children died in a violent, painful death and people are here saying that her husband will replace her with a 26 yr old, they are referring to her and her friends as AWFULs and that her husband is an ATM????
People are rejoicing in the death of a woman because she was successful and had money to fly a private jet???? The ones making the nastiest comments are just evil and you know who you are. Wow. I am just shocked at the hatred and extremely disappointed in some of you I have followed since I have been here.
Not airborne..or barely.. by 175 mph? Probably ice, wings couldn’t fly and stalled. That was a costly girl’s night out.

I’d look askance at the fact this couple were pretty darn rich defending illegal aliens (?!) and didn’t give their children real names, and leave it at that.
