Furious residents of liberal city claim it stinks of CANNABIS and they can't escape... years after legalizing marijuana

Residents of a liberal city in Missouri have been complaining to officials that it stinks of cannabis everywhere they go.

In Rock Hill, Missouri, a small city with a population of around 4,700 in the St Louis metropolitan area, the number of complaints about cannabis odor shot up in the second half of 2025.

The city received 99 complaints about stinky weed between April and December of last year. Rock Hill's city administrator Garrett Schlett told the St Louis Post-Dispatch the number represents a significant uptick from previous years.

Missouri legalized medical marijuana use in 2018, and recreational use was legalized in late 2022.

In 2021, Missouri-based cannabis company Proper Brands opened a facility in Rock Hill's Industrial Court, which is where the stench that residents have been complaining about originates.

Proper Brands' 60,000 square foot warehouse cultivates marijuana plants and manufactures a variety of cannabis products.

According to the company's CEO, John Pennington, the strong odor inside can escape and be carried by wind when employees leave or exit the warehouse.

And the wind takes the odor far. Schlett, the city administrator, said he and others can sometimes smell it at city hall, which is about half a mile from the warehouse.

NYC and LA. Terrible for this

If you lit up a cigarette they’d practically tackle you but a contact high is fine.

That’s how dumb it has become

“NYC and LA. Terrible for this”

The streets of Greenwich Village and nearby, in New York City, reek of marijuana. Enough to gag a maggot.

I used to take the DART train to downtown Dallas, the trains always reeked.

Restaurants I worked in in my younger years prohibited staff from wearing any perfume or cologne. You would be sent home, once. Twice, and you were fired.

Today, the stink of weed bastes the tables. I live in Memphis and there are very few places that keep that clientele and staff out of the place. Porch & Parlor and Bari are two.

As it is with most of the “ you can’t legislate morality” laws there was a very good reason they passed the laws making those things illegal back in the hazy past

We just don’t remember

Now we are getting to re learn why those behaviors were banned

all liberal cities now smell like skunks everywhere you go.

Seems appropriate for liberals to smell like the worst smell in nature.

wait a few more years until liberals suddenly “discover” pot causes lung cancer along with everything else besides clean air you inhale and then watch them scamble to stop this on 2nd hand smoke fears.

“It’s the rolling papers that stink. Mostly.”

I dunno my friend.

There’s a lot of ways to smoke pot that don’t involve rolling papers.

Back in the day there used to be a type of pot that came around occasionally that the heads affectionately referred to as “skunk weed”...and trust me, it lived up to it’s nickname. 😏
