A man is in custody on suspicion of a prolific spree of Bay Area vehicle break-ins: Over 100 in the course of two days, San Jose police said.
From Nov. 8-9, 114 vehicles were burglarized at apartment complexes, police said in a press release. Vehicles were hit in residential parking garages on the 300 block of Crescent Village Circle, 3400 block of Iron Point Drive, 3700 block of Casa Verde Street and 100 block of Baypointe Parkway. Witnesses reported seeing an adult male, but the suspect disappeared before police arrived.
The individual was captured on CCTV, however, and the San Jose Police Department’s burglary unit was able to identify a suspect. A search warrant was executed at the 23-year-old’s home in Gilroy last week, and police said evidence from the break-ins was located.
The man was already in custody at the Santa Clara County Main Jail at the time he was identified, police said. They did not elaborate on why, except to say that he was in jail for an "unrelated crime.”
"Over a hundred victims were terrorized by one senseless suspect who thought his actions would go unnoticed," San Jose police Chief Paul Joseph said in a statement. "SJPD made sure you got our full attention and now you will face the consequences of victimizing our San Jose community."

“””The guy apparently has a significant work ethic.....””
Definitely a go getter.
I bet he’ll be out Monday morning to start a new streak.
IS CA going to immediately let him go because he has Hispanic last names? Ramses Hernandez Rivera.

Whatever it is, is three or four names long...Rodriguez Sanchez Ramos Azara
Lock the door put the windows up, and don’t leave valuables in plain sight. It’s rather simple.
All over the Kalifornia San Francisco Bay Area are BRIGHT RED SIGNS:
CAUTION! THIS IS A SMASH-AND-GRAB AREA. Do not leave any valuables in the car.
There were recent stories about San Francisco residents leaving their car windows down so that no one would break the glass. Some residents even went so far as to leave the car trunk open and empty, so no one would pry the trunk open. No word on how many homeless used these open cars as a bed for the night.
Zombie Apocalypse Indeed!
Give it up for the hardest-working man in vehicular theft...
The guy broke into 114 cars. I’m not an expert on how the California justice system works. But I suppose a California judge is going to ask him to please stop it.
I doubt if we can expect much more.
Break both his arms.

And then, the legs.
I would hate to see what insurance premiums are.
It’s right there under the photo which is from the article.
I must have over looked it. Was expecting to see it included in the article.
really. You would think so.
This is what a soft on crime philosophy will get you.
No. If it were written in the article at some time, it has been deleted now. (Sun evening, 18 Jan 2026, 21:00 EST)
Is the accused felon an illegal alien? Or just a member of the Chosen Race? Chosen religion? Chose sex? Gender?
