Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO): "Can men get pregnant?" Dr. Nisha Verma: "I'm not really sure what the goal of the question is." Hawley: "The goal is just to establish a biological reality. You said just a moment ago that science and evidence should control, not politics. So, let's test that. Can men get pregnant?" Dr. Verma: "I take care of people with many identities...I'm also someone here to represent the complex experiences of my patients. I don't think polarized language or questions serve that goal..." Hawley: "It is not polarizing to say that there is a scientific difference between men and women...It is not polarizing to say that women are a biological reality and should be treated and protected as such."

DR. VERMA: "I completely agree science and evidence should guide medicine, I also think..."
HAWLEY: "Do science and evidence tell us that men can get pregnant? Biological men, can they get pregnant?"
DR. VERMA: "I also think yes/no questions like this are a political tool..."
HAWLEY: "No, yes/no questions are about the truth, Doctor. Let's not make a mockery of this proceeding. This is about science and evidence, and I'm asking you. You know, the United States Supreme Court just heard arguments yesterday at great length on this question. This is not a hypothetical question, this is not theoretical, it affects real people in their real lives. And you're here as an expert called by the other side as an expert, and you've been telling us that you follow... right, you're a doctor, and you follow the science and the evidence. So I just want to know, based on the science, can men get pregnant? That's a yes/no question. It really is, I think."
DR. VERMA: "I think you're trying to reduce the complexity of..."
HAWLEY: "I'm not, I'm trying to get... it's not complex. I'm trying to get to an answer and I'm trying to test, frankly, your veracity as a medical professional and as a scientist. Can men get pregnant?"
DR. VERMA: "I think you're also conflating male and female..."
Josh Hawley: "This is extraordinary. No, I am not conflating male and female. They're two different things. There's biological men and there's biological women. And I want to know, can men get pregnant?"
DR. VERMA: "What you are talking about is biological... biological males..."
HAWLEY: "You're not going to answer my question, it sounds like. This isn't hard, Doctor. Can men get pregnant? Yes or no?"
DR. VERMA: "Again, I would be more than happy to have a conversation with you that is not coming from a place of trying to be polarized and push me..."
HAWLEY: "I'm not trying to be polarizing, I'm trying to ask... I think it is extraordinary that we are here in a hearing about science and about women. And for the record, it's women who get pregnant, not men."

We made the mistake a long time ago, and the damage it has wrought is considerable.
When these moonbat lunatics insisted that there is nobody's reality that can be considered the truth, that all truths were true to a given individual, and that it is THEIR truth, and they expect us to treat it as equally valid as any other "truth" that has been put to the test of experiential logic, that opened the door to a logical catastrophe that has wreaked havoc on us as a society.
All this transgender crap. And it doesn't stop there. Just look at this Leftist women shot in the face for trying to run an ICE agent over. It is right there on video for everyone to see. It isn't fake. There are multiple angles. And the same people who absolutely have seen the same videos that we all see here, devoutly and steadfastly maintain that woman was shot for no reason at all.
Even though they can see with their own eyes.
We should have nipped this in the bud and squashed it. Decades ago.
But we didn't.
We were busy. Working at making a living. We didn't take them seriously. We just looked at them in astonishment and said "Good God. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Whatever, just leave the rest of us alone." and we went back to what we were doing.
And now, we get this. An honest-to-God "expert" who when asked AS A WITNESS IN FRONT OF A CONGRESSIONAL HEARING if a MAN can get PREGNANT says "..."I think you're also conflating male and female..." and it doesn't even so much as raise an eyebrow in HALF of the people sitting there.
When you see these signs, on front yards, all over the place that say "Science is Real", they should all be marked up with a disclaimer:
It is astonishing. We live in the same society with people, work with them, drive on the roads with them, sit near them in restaurants, people who have a sign they took the time to plant in their yard with a hammer, a sign that says "Science is Real", and then with a straight and completely serious face will say in the same breath that men can get pregnant.
Is it me? Are we living in the End Times?
Did NOBODY watch the documentary titled Junior?
I admit I still feel a surge of disbelief when the tv news people say “a pregnant person.” Which “person” can be pregnant? 50/50 chance of the right answer on the first try.
