Isn’t this what happens when woke gets attached to something. They ruin it.

There are a ton of fan-made AI videos on YouTube covering Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and other franchises which are good quality, and which preserve the essential character of the films that people loved. It’s not hard. Amateurs can do it.
The fact that the major studios seem completely incapable of giving the public what it wants just shows that the major studios are controlled by mentally ill women and by homosexuals.
and ironically many just can’t see how the rest of us preceive this as pushing their woke agenda on us.
Those are classic. Easy to binge that stuff. And it’s just for laughs. Actual, serious stuff can also be done. By “ordinary people”. The folks who earn million dollar salaries? They can only produce trash that no one wants. That industry is dying.

In the 1920s-40s, Hollywood was controlled by moguls who provided mass entertainment for the broad public.
In the 1960s-80s, Hollywood was run by liberals and artistic visionaries, but kept in check by corporate overlords who kept an eye on the bottom line.
In the 2010s-20s, Hollywood is controlled by far left ideologues, who are oblivious to the outside world and kept in check by no one.
I think eventually you can watch any classic movie and choose the actors you want to see in the roles.

It’s real. The trailer for it only got about 50k views, which is dismal. It’s set in the Discovery Universe (Kurtzman Trek), and is effectively Dawson’s Fleet or Star Trek: 90210. It’s going to bomb, but there will be a subset of what’s left of the fan base that will actually consume this, along with the other garbage Trek. Deep Space 9 wasn’t perfect, Ira Stephen Behr is a loon with a blue goatee and mustache, but damn if he didn’t write a banger of a series with DS9.

Robert Picardo (who plays the holographic doctor) says that Star Trek has always been “woke”, and we just need to be less bigoted. But I don’t remember the old Enterprise as being full of effeminate Klingons, overweight lesbians, with the only straight white guy as the villain. In Strange New Worlds it appears that Vulcan is now a matriarchal culture. The bridge is mostly women who constantly tell the captain what to do, when they’re not talking about their feelings. It’s just not watchable.
