Nolte: Scott Adams Says ‘This Might Be the Last Show,’ Will Convert to Christianity
Breitbart ^ | 8 Jan, 2026 | John Nolte

Dilbert creator Scott Adams warned that his Thursday podcast might be his last.

Adams opened his podcast explaining how he’s now having difficulty staying awake, and that his exhaustion and slurred voice have nothing to do with any medication. “Today’s going to be a tough one,” he said. “Because I fell asleep about five times just getting ready” for the show.

Adams announced his prostate cancer diagnosis last May, and that the cancer had already “spread to my bones.”

At the time, he wasn’t certain he would last the summer. He did. But earlier this month, he announced his chances of surviving were now down to zero and that he expected to “transition” sometime in January. Since then, he’s become noticeably weaker.

For the next 30 minutes of his Thursday podcast, Adams went on with his regular routine, where he runs through the day’s headlines and offers his thoughts, which have been insightful and unique enough to earn him a huge following outside and on top of the Dilbert fan base.

In the show’s final minutes, however, Adams said, “As of today, based on how I feel, I don’t know if there will be a show tomorrow or ever again. If I feel better, there will be.”

He added, “If I feel the way I felt today, this might be the last show. But I don’t know that for sure. I’ll probably be fast asleep two minutes after I’m done here.”

“Thank you for all the support, this crazy support,” he said to his fans. “Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. Thank you for letting me come into your home and simultaneously sip with you.”

He then explained why Thursday morning’s show might be his last. “I’ve also been told that my mental acuity is

...but is still wandering around.

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not late concerning his promise, as some count lateness,
but is patient with us, not willing that any should perish,
but that all should come to repentance.

No proclamation that Christ is God, that he lived a sinless life, was killed, rose from the dead and ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven.

Your search results confirm that the Nicene Creed and the Apostles’ Creed explicitly affirm Christ’s deity, death, resurrection, and ascension.

If someone says:

“No proclamation that Christ is God, lived sinless, died, rose, and ascended…”

They are not talking about the Nicene or Apostles’ Creed, because both creeds do proclaim those things explicitly.

So what creed are they talking about?

Most likely:

The “Baptist Faith & Message 2000” (BF&M)

or

A modern denominational statement that avoids explicit Christological detail

Why?

Because many modern “creeds,” “covenants,” or “statements of faith” used by churches:

…but do not explicitly state:

This is a common criticism of minimalist evangelical statements, not of the ancient creeds.

This is also what I have heard...about following the money trail. It says there is more money treating cancer than there would be curing it. Seems pretty unethical to me, tho.

No proclamation that Christ is God, that he lived a sinless life, was killed, rose from the dead and ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. That Christ alone is the way to salvation.

I agree. He's so close to understanding, but he can't seem to get out of his own way, even on his deathbed.

I used to work with his brother, Dave. At that time, about 22 years ago, they were estranged. I do hope they’ve reconciled.

Sounds like he is on his way to doing all that. His sincerity of heart tells God the tale.

The kingdom of God is at hand.

My doctor told me years ago the all men will get prostate cancer if they live long enough. My prostate cancer seems to be under control and shrinking. The bone scan was negative, thank you, Lord.

Prayers for Scott.
But I do have to say in a video I saw recently of him announcing he will convert, he didnt seem to understand why it’s important. He seemed to just be making the choice because many have suggested it and he figured he would give it a try, now that he is told he doesn’t have much longer to live.

I pray he gets revelation, not just doing it without sincerity.

Trying to time eternity down to the last second doesn’t sound like a good plan.

It’s a very dangerous plan.
