Nolte: Scott Adams Says ‘This Might Be the Last Show,’ Will Convert to Christianity
Breitbart ^ | 8 Jan, 2026 | John Nolte

Dilbert creator Scott Adams warned that his Thursday podcast might be his last.

Adams opened his podcast explaining how he’s now having difficulty staying awake, and that his exhaustion and slurred voice have nothing to do with any medication. “Today’s going to be a tough one,” he said. “Because I fell asleep about five times just getting ready” for the show.

Adams announced his prostate cancer diagnosis last May, and that the cancer had already “spread to my bones.”

At the time, he wasn’t certain he would last the summer. He did. But earlier this month, he announced his chances of surviving were now down to zero and that he expected to “transition” sometime in January. Since then, he’s become noticeably weaker.

For the next 30 minutes of his Thursday podcast, Adams went on with his regular routine, where he runs through the day’s headlines and offers his thoughts, which have been insightful and unique enough to earn him a huge following outside and on top of the Dilbert fan base.

In the show’s final minutes, however, Adams said, “As of today, based on how I feel, I don’t know if there will be a show tomorrow or ever again. If I feel better, there will be.”

He added, “If I feel the way I felt today, this might be the last show. But I don’t know that for sure. I’ll probably be fast asleep two minutes after I’m done here.”

“Thank you for all the support, this crazy support,” he said to his fans. “Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. Thank you for letting me come into your home and simultaneously sip with you.”

He then explained why Thursday morning’s show might be his last. “I’ve also been told that my mental acuity is

I never read any mention of last rites in the New Testament.

His statement that he is “not a believer” contradicts “going to convert to Christianity”. Hopefully someone who knows him informs him that the Bible says that salvation hinges on confessing sins and believing that Jesus died on the cross to redeem us from our sins. I don’t see anywhere in the Bible that says you can just “claim to be converted to Christianity” for salvation.

No one brought it up so far. Scott was a huge covid vaccine promoter. He put lots of time and energy into fighting with anyone who thought otherwise. I get it’s a personal decision for everyone but he went out his way to make his decision a public issue. Hoping for a sincere future conversion (why hasn’t it happened yet? Is it penciled into his calendar?) from trusting the science to trusting the Lord.

Correct. My sentiments exactly. It appears to be an intellectual exercise only.
No conviction of sin.
No repentance.
No proclamation that Christ is God, that he lived a sinless life, was killed, rose from the dead and ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven. That Christ alone is the way to salvation.

He seems to think that if he lived a good life, then being a Christian (like a club?) will buy him eternal life.

"His attitude appears to be a bit flippant, because he stated that if Christianity is real, then he wakes up in heaven, but if not, then no loss because there is no afterlife."

Basically, Pascal's Wager.

” “So the last will be first, and the first will be last.””

TRUE! As long as you are alive, its not too late.

The problem I have is that the article talks about him Converting to Christianity. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? WHAT GOOD WOULD THAT DO?

What, That he joined the “club”? Had some water sprinkled on him, Had some words said to him by a man in a black robe, a white collar, a leisure suit? Maybe some words said to him in a language he couldn’t understand (tongues/Latin)

He has to BELIEVE that Jesus is his one Lord and Savior. He has to confess his sins and repent of them. He MUST have a true conversion of his heart and soul, not just mumble a few words someone told him to repeat.

Unless Jesus intervenes, directly or with an angel, sorry to say, I don’t like Scott’s chances.

I certainly do not claim to know what is in his heart. I just hope he is sincere in his conversion.

We annihilate cities in a matter of seconds. Why the F*** can’t we kill microscopic cells in the body !?!?

Cities are big. Easy to find. Making huge multi-kiloton explosions is difficult, but only because of scale.

Microscopic cells are microscopic. Very difficult to find. They're very easy to kill ... IF YOU CAN FIND THEM.

I can eliminate every cancer cell in your body. It's not very hard to do. A few hundred pounds of TNT will accomplish this feat.

Your question is very badly posed. Making a huge explosion is a very different task from finding and destroying EVERY genetically anomalous cell in a living organism. There is no meaningful equality between them. To suggest that we can do one of the tasks and therefore should be able to do the other is absurd.

It was a rhetorical question. The killing isn’t hard. It’s saving the good ones that is.

It was a rhetorical question.

You got an answer anyway ... leftists have been using that sort of "question" since at least the early 1970s comparing the Moon missions to "ending poverty". Rhetorical of not, it's often a very dishonest question. In an increasingly technological age it's very important to understand that difficult problems are rarely comparable, especially when some are technological and others are not.

The killing isn’t hard. It’s saving the good ones that is.

Yes, as my TNT example shows ...

Because cancer is BIG MONEY, for BigPharma and doctors.

Oncologists make big money, one of the few/only specialists who earn fringe benies off of these very expensive drugs.

Fortunately, there are compassionate docs who are having great success treating prostate and other cancers.

Scott gave one such doc/protocol a try. Unfortunately, he only gave it ONE month. It takes at least 3 mos of treatment to begin to see results (in scans, bloodwork, etc).

He then, angrily, and, unfairly blamed the doc. He then went online crying for a drug with limited success, as a right to try. Many on X retweeted his pleas. This caught the attention of POTUS and others, to promote Scott being able to access said drug.

The repurposed drug protocol doc - who is also an oncologist - posted that this trial drug would NOT benefit Scott (based on numerous trials).

Prayers up for Scott. Happy to hear he is converting to Christianity. Praying he truly believes. 🙏🏻💔

“I do hope that Adams will add baptism, last rites, and confession to his conversion. My beliefs say those are vital, and there’s no downside to crossing those Ts and dotting those Is. Godspeed, sir.”

Amen to Nolte's prayer, in Jesus' Name.

It's not as profitable and would destroy an entire industry around the world. Thousands of people in the medical field would not become millionaires and tens of thousands would not have their current jobs.

Earlier this week, Adams said he would convert to Christianity.

“I’ve not been a believer,” Adams explained. “You’re going to hear for the first time today that it is my plan to convert [to Christianity]. I still have time,” he added. “My understanding is that you’re never too late.”

“So, to my Christian friends, yes, it’s coming.”

Throughout the Trump era, Adams has been a calm voice of reason, someone many have counted on to explain the world in a way we can understand and through a unique and brilliant lens that puts things into a perspective available nowhere else.

I do hope that Adams will add baptism, last rites, and confession to his conversion. My beliefs say those are vital, and there’s no downside to crossing those T's and dotting those I's.

He does not acknowledge sin, the nature of Jesus Christ, or his need to be saved.
