Vlad knew how to deal with Muslims
Why worse, because he knew how to deal w/Islamic expansion?
I personally liked his cousin Stephen better but Vlad knew how to deal with a rough country and even rougher enemies.
If Hungary, Poland and Moldavia had united to stomp the mohammedans into the dust rather then spending their blood and treasure on petty wars that meant nothing we would not have half the problems in the world we have today.
Good fences make good neighbors.
Bad neighbors make good fences.
The original infidel. Knew how to post things....
We should be impaling illegals at the border and mail in voters at the drop boxes.
I got this.
Here’s a Vlad Dracula story.
A merchant once travelled through Prince Dracula‘s land. At the inn the merchant asked where he could keep his chest of silver safe for the night.
Keep it outside in your cart, the merchant was told. No one dares to steal in Prince Dracula’s land!
Well, the chest was stolen. The thief was apprehended and the chest was recovered. The next day the merchant was invited to watch the thief’s execution by impalement.
Prince Dracula: Please count your silver. I will make up any coins that are missing.
Merchant: All the coins are there. Plus there is one more! But I must ask you something. There are two stakes in the town square. Will there be two executions today?
Prince Dracula: Had you not reported the extra coin, the second stake was for you.
I don’t think he was a bad guy. He was dealt a bad hand dealing with Muslims and treated them the only way you can deal with Muslims.
They are either at your neck or under your boot.
Good one.
Impaling people is mean! Instead, put them on relief and drive your country bankrupt! Don’t you know nothing?/sarc
Well Played, Waterhill!
His kid brother became Mehmet’s butt boy. How would you feel?
(This has been a public service announcement by Prince Vlad's Ministry of Information. Sponsored completely voluntarily by the guild of green grocers and Sharpies' Spikes Company. Think Sharpies for all your Impaling needs.)
It’s too bad we never got a real good historical movie about the (non-vampire) Vlad Tepes. He had a pretty interesting life.
Naaaa.
Some Brit was running around saying it was his pornstar name.
I try..(shrugs).
So what’s the problem? 20,000 muzzies on poles must’ve really stunk though.
The spikes weren’t sharp. Implement is more brutal than imagined.
