My liberal dad just sent me the following text:
“Without any emotions give me your view on Trump today. It's to have an idea of his standing today”
IS THERE A QUICK LIST OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS THAT I MAY QUICKLY SEND HIM BACK? I need to be thorough.
Thank you, Freepers, and a Happy New Year to all! 🎉

I heard you on the radio today.
Sealed the wide open southern border in record time to start
🎉 HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL WMAL LISTENERS! 🎉

Your dad putts from the rough?
Gas price is down and continues to drop. My dollar at the grocery store is going further than it did under Biden.
Thanks for listening - that was tons of fun! Love Mike Opelka when he fills in for The Planteman.
Eggs down from $8 to $1.99
Gas down from $4 to $2
Closed Border
Peace in the ME
Standard Deduction stays at $30K rather than dropping to $12K
Ruff. Dad’s a fag.
This opens up jobs, housing and government programs for Americans who need those things.
Price of food is down.
Price of fuel is down.
His last speech to all Americans said it all...in record time
Major cuts in the federal bureaucracy.
With all due respect to you and your dad, I’d tell him to look it up himself.
Personally speaking, I’m getting sick and tired of libs demanding we need to prove and explain things.
Usually, even if you do they hike their leg on it and don’t believe it anyway.
Having said all that, I wish you luck in getting him to see the light.
Best regards and happy new year. 🙂
If your liberal dad is like my liberal dad, politely refuse to engage in the conversation. When the subject of Trump comes up in my father’s house, he and his wife (my step-mother) become enraged at the slightest argument that Trump is not the reincarnation of Hitler. I used to argue with them. Now I just tell them to stop watching MSNBC and that getting this angry is not good for their health.
Brokered peace deals in approx. 8 conflicts around the globe.
Stopped (paused?) Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Sounding like there will be a bit more to do on that front coming up.
I’ll say ‘started’ to weed out non-productive bureaucracy. Along with that, the country has clearly been put on notice that fraud will be exposed.
Tax cuts extended... added the no-tax-on-tips pledge; did as well as could legally be done (apparently) toward eliminating taxes on Soc. Security benefits.
Interest rates and inflation are trending in the right direction. Oil prices, too.
It’s probably (not knowing your Dad) useless to cite specific actions, as this often just leads to a “Yes, but he also ________” kinda ‘argument’. My general view is that he’s an imperfect man (like the rest of us) who is working harder than any President (save for maybe Reagan) for the entire nation, even his detractors. To name a couple of things he’s done which I think demonstrate that fact would be a.) the obliteration of Iran’s nuclear program, and b.) the obliteration of drug-running boats from Venezuela. Some people, incredibly, might not give him credit for these actions.
Key Accomplishments of the Trump Administration in 2025
Economic Initiatives
One Big Beautiful Bill: Signed on July 4, 2025, this legislation made the 2017 tax cuts permanent, introduced "No Tax on Tips," and established senior deductions.
Job Creation: Approximately 687,000 private sector jobs were created since Trump took office, with significant capital spending increases.
Tax Relief: The administration's tax policies increased take-home pay for many Americans, with some families seeing increases of up to $13,300.
Government Efficiency
Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE): Established on Trump's first day, led by Elon Musk, aimed at reducing wasteful spending. It reportedly saved the government around $175 billion.
Return to In-Person Work: A presidential memorandum mandated that federal employees return to in-person work, ending remote work arrangements.
Health and Safety
Make America Healthy Again Commission: Launched to address childhood chronic diseases, focusing on nutrition and environmental factors.
FDA Regulations: Changes were made to improve the safety evaluation of food ingredients, aiming to protect public health.
Foreign Policy and National Security
Tariff Policies: Implemented tariffs to address trade deficits and protect domestic industries, including a significant focus on medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
Immigration Enforcement: Utilized the Alien Enemies Act to deport members of criminal gangs, marking a significant shift in immigration policy.
Regulatory Reforms
Deregulation Efforts: Continued efforts to reduce regulations across various sectors, aiming to enhance economic growth and efficiency.
Digital Asset Framework: The GENIUS Act established a regulatory framework for stablecoins, reinforcing the U.S. dollar's dominance in digital assets.
These accomplishments reflect a focus on economic growth, government efficiency, health initiatives, and a strong stance on immigration and foreign policy.
Trump is actually doing something about the illegal drugs pouring into our country.
His agencies are rescuing the kids that have been sex trafficked.
