We often think about human-induced climate change as something that will happen in the future, but it is happening now. Ecosystems and people in the United States and around the world are affected by the ongoing process of climate change today.
Climate change affects the environment in many different ways, including rising temperatures, sea level rise, drought, flooding, and more. These events affect things that we depend upon and value, like water, energy, transportation, wildlife, agriculture, ecosystems, and human health.

I doubt if you ask any activist, they could explain why it is bad. It is simply costly and inconvenient to man. Historically it is pretty natural if inconvenient.
The movement/argument seems pretty self serving.
I was forced to list a url to post. This thread is mostly about my queries.
There is nothing good or bad about it. It just “is.” It is a natural part of the cycle of the earth.
The climate nuts think that we can control/affect what the earth has been doing for literally billions of years. That is pretty much the definition of arrogance.
The current hysteria over “climate change” is simply a ploy to amass and preserve power over the people. It never was about the environment - mankind has not ascended to the level of being able to control climate. It is about milking money from mankind and accumulating power before the scam is revealed.
I just wonder if we should try to control it (I agree we can’t). I never see studies indicating the long-term harm we could be doing to the planet if we could control it.

Most of the ‘climate change’ grant money went to study the so-called problem. Billions and billions - a nice chunk of change to hand out to fellow liberal ‘friends and cronies’...for decades...
Maybe President Trump could address the Unicorn ‘gas’ problem - and hand out billions in grant money to conservatives like us... I wonder if DC elites would object.

Liberal activists adopt causes that can’t speak for themselves and claim they are the “voice” of the neglected. Their solutions are almost always the same - higher taxes, reduced individual freedoms, more government controls.
“Climate change” is always going to happen and cannot be reversed. So-called “Man-made” change is rarely the fault of man but activists want us to be so stupid we’ll let them advance their communist goals.
the “climate nuts” think it is man-caused and the only solution is to eliminate who doesn’t agree that it is man-caused.
That way, they don’t have to start with themselves.
Actually, control before money is preferred. That way, you don’t waste your money on establishing control.
Based on 39 years working in the same remote environment, yeah we’re warming up. Why? Take a look at that big yellow marble in the sky. It breathes, we breathe. We’re not going to stop that.

NOAA data is NOT to be trusted. Too many of the weather stations are sited wrong or not maintained or both.
From what I understand, all of the planets are slightly warming — even Pluto, in lock-step with Earth which means our Sun is just going through a phase. But you sure can make a lot of money scaring people. The government of the Earth are primarily worthless, and at worse, I wonder why we even bother. But with crisis like these that they make up, they can justify their being there. They love making up huge, unfixable problems, the climate, closing the IQ gaps, etc because there is nothing an individual can do. So people look to the worthless, cocaine-addled useless politicians for “help.”
When night approaches - we prepare for it.
When daylight approaches - we prepare for it.
When winter approaches - we prepare for it.
When spring approaches - we prepare for it.
When floods come - we evacuate.
When earthquakes come, we evacuate.
When hurricanes come, we evacuate.
When climate change approaches - we try to stop it.
We stopped tossing people into volcanoes to try to stop them a long time ago.
Climate change... it does and there’s nothing humans should ever do to change it.
Humans have been around ~250k years, earth around 4.5B years.
I’m guessing the next mass extinction event will resolve any issues humans may cause.

Do you want to destroy all Bovidae, the biological family of cloven-hoofed, ruminant mammals that includes cattle, bison, buffalo, antelopes, and goat-antelopes such as sheep and goats? Do you want to snuff out everyone who isn't a vegan or vegetarian?
