Taken from The Secret Destiny of America, Manly P. Hall's work on the occult history and future of the American continent, this article shows that the American ideals of constitutional democracy, universal suffrage and a free people under God are the culmination of thousands of years of tireless work undertaken by great initiates on behalf of humanity.

Oh no. Don’t all those demonic Freemasons, Rosicrucians, etc., figure in this story?
sounds a little new world order-ish
Why? The concept doesn’t say anything about imposed rule.
But it’s natural for a successful political philosophy to be recognized and to spread.
I don’t see the connection.
Freemasons worship God One can’t even join without professing belief in God.
There is no connection, but that won’t stop the incessant clamor of those ignorant of freemasonry to criticize and demonize it.
Those who hate Freemasonry can’t stand the fact that we refrain from judging and condemning the beliefs of other people if they happen to differ from our own. We prefer to focus on what unites us rather than our differences, and to turn harmony and cooperation into benefit for others.
It has been this way for millennia. And we are still here, doing good.
Read pages 165 thru 170 of that book and please tell me who you think that might have been.
I lived for a while with the family of a friend, where the father was a Freemason. He was one of the finest men I’ve ever known.
(FR has its share of weird beliefs. We just have to take it all in stride.)
Any god.
Except the Lord, Jesus Christ.
He’s not allowed.
Ping for catching up tomorrow.
Who told you that Masons are not Christians? Every one I’ve known has been.
And do you think Jewish people are ‘satan’?
They don’t necessarily buy into your Lord Jesus Christ. But they believe in God, and there are Jewish Masons.
The vast majority of Freemasons are great people.
They have no clue about the secrets reserved for those at the very top.
That is why they are called secrets!
And what dastardly stuff do you assume is at the ‘very top’?
Freemasonry. It’s a religion.
You have to believe in a god.
Any god.
Shiva, Brahma, Allah, Cerrunos, Lucifer, . . .
Any god.
Except Jesus Christ. Can’t have that one.
Sure, there are quite a number of ppl who claim to be Christians who are members of Freemasonry. The two are diametrically opposed, tho.
Manley P. Hall Quote
“When the Mason learns that the key to the warrior on the block is the proper application of the dynamo of living power, he has learned the mystery of his Craft. The seething energies of Lucifer are in his hands, and before he may step onward and upward, he must prove his ability to properly apply energy. He must follow in the footsteps of his forefather, Tubal-Cain, who with the mighty strength of the war god hammered his sword into a plowshare.”

Shriners have told me that the fez is red because it has been dipped in the blood of the Christian martyrs.
But they were probably pulling my leg.
then again
the logo on the fez looks like it was stolen from muslims.
“And what dastardly stuff do you assume is at the ‘very top’?”
The actual nuanced and well rehearsed secret handshake.
Well, they had a great treasure. Benjamin Gates found it.
Freemasonry is not a religion. It’s a philosophy.
Someone seems to have brainwashed you.
I thought we were discussing Freemasons.
