Stanford Medicine investigators have unearthed the biological process by which mRNA-based vaccines for COVID-19 can cause heart damage in some young men and adolescents — and they’ve shown a possible route to reducing its likelihood.
Using advanced but now common lab technologies, along with published data from vaccinated individuals, the researchers identified a two-step sequence in which these vaccines activate a certain type of immune cell, in turn riling up another type of immune cell. The resulting inflammatory activity directly injures heart muscle cells, while triggering further inflammatory damage.
The mRNA vaccines for COVID-19, which have now been administered several billion times, have been heavily scrutinized for safety and have been shown to be extremely safe, said Joseph Wu, MD, PhD, the director of the Stanford Cardiovascular Institute.
“The mRNA vaccines have done a tremendous job mitigating the COVID pandemic,” said Wu, the Simon H. Stertzer, MD, Professor and a professor of medicine and of radiology. “Without these vaccines, more people would have gotten sick, more people would have had severe effects and more people would have died.”
mRNA vaccines are viewed as a breakthrough because they can be produced quickly enough to keep up with sudden microbial strain changes and they can be rapidly adapted to fight widely divergent types of pathogens. But, as with all vaccines, not everyone who gets the shot experiences a purely benign reaction.

Wow! Who knew?
I had sore arm muscles after both shots.
Muscle inflammation is an obvious risk.
I just found a 2 inch pile of research papers concerning adverse reaction to the covid vaccine that I had printed off during the years.
Sounds like the "professor" is still professing the lie. They had to change the definition of "vaccine."
The best description I have read for the vaxxine is gene therapy.
Good catch. I noticed the same thing.
“The mRNA vaccines have done a tremendous job mitigating the COVID pandemic,” said Wu, the Simon H. Sounds like the “independent, unbiased researcher” knows which side of his paycheck the butter is spread.
Even when he finds evidence of a likely pathway to create new cases of heart and cardio failure CAUSED BY taking the vaccine.
Now they come up with a treatment using Big Pharmas products, that you have to use for long periods of time, or forever.
Just my honest opinion
The spin makes me sick. We know the “vaccine” made people more vulnerable to COVID infecion & it did not save lives. No amount of gaslighting will overcome the facts.
I am ashamed to say I was bullied into getting my shots. I’ve never felt right since. I had a really nasty case of shingles this year that took MONTHS to heal, but — the amazing thing is— I get over colds a lot faster.
I mean, I have an increased chance of developing GBS, so yay me.
I wish I’d never caved to the pressure and remained a pure blood. I am terrified of what is in my system now.
And further, I feel like such a spineless coward.
He’s right about the cytokines involved but still does not mention that it is the mRNA itself inducing production of these cytokines via pattern recognition receptors of the innate immune system.
My wife recently has had an issue with tachycardia. Her primary care doctor can’t find an issue, so they sent her to a cardiologist. She said one of the first things the cardiologist asked her was whether she got the Covid vaccine. When she told him she had not, she said, he replied, “good.“
“ I get over colds a lot faster.”
Covid is a cold virus.
They could have easily tracked all the new variants, discovered the antigenic shift and using recombinant antigen synthesis kept up to date with the variants to produce old school vaccine. All they needed was huge amounts of surveillance and ramped up production. Why they thought that hijacking cellular genetic processes was better is still beyond me. New technology plus new antigens equals at least twice the uncertainty into causes of adverse effects.
That’s what is supposed to happen. The injection causes cells in the shoulder muscle to manufacture the spike protein, inviting an immune response in that location, which causes the inflammatory reaction that you experienced. But what was discovered to actually be occurring was the spike protein spreading beyond the shoulder through the bloodstream, and being detected throughout the body. That’s a problem, and we still don’t know all the possible ramifications of it.

“or forever”
5+ years for me so far and no indiction that will change.
Indeed it is, wasn’t implying that it wasn’t. And not sure how this comment is relevant.
The J&J did G-d knows what to my body, though. Although it did seem to super charge my immune system. Had a friend who battled Guillane Barre Syndrome. Watching what he went through, I’m terrified of what awaits me.
Myocarditis... reading up on the symptoms, it’s easy to self diagnose — G-d knows what awaits me. Yay.
(I hate being a sheep.)
Joseph Wu needs to be loaded with Simian 40 from MurdeRNA shots until its coming out his hears.
Multiple doses make the risk worse.
