Democrats’ fear-mongering about the Trump economy is looking more and more like sour grapes.
Yesterday’s CPI report, showing inflation of 2.7 percent — well below the expected 3.1 percent — was bad political news for Democrats. Since “Liberation Day” in April, when President Trump rolled out tariffs aimed at resetting global trade in favor of U.S. companies, the left and their media allies have warned voters that the White House’s actions would clobber our economy and set inflation soaring.

If AI is super intelligent, it would tell Bernie voters to just stop voting like idiots.
Democrats’ fear-mongering
Democrats have the right to remain silent but not the ability.
Bad news for democrats is good news for America!
That action, the firing of the union, made it perfectly clear: new sheriff in town.
Another "big thing" that happened was the release of the IBM PC in August; the significance of this event wasn't apparent immediately.
Things limped along into 1982, with inflation cooling noticeably, but the MSM downplaying it. When they were forced to mention it, they always combined the good news with opinion about how Reagonomics was killing the economy.
Unemployment was dropping, though.
Things kind of limped along in 1982, until October, when the stock market had three remarkable days: Thursday 10/14 through Monday 10/18. Even I remember them, and I was far from being an investor, at the age of 27. That was the beginning of the longest bull market in history, lasting five years, until the October crash in '87.
My point is that it took nearly two years for the changes Reagan was making to begin to be obvious. My memory is that the Republicans did pretty well in the November elections in 1982, others may want to correct me on that.
Don't give up the ship.
Trump has the same problem. FYI, I fully support Trump, but you’ve got to think his advisers are often asking, “Did he just say that out loud?”
Sorry, Democrats — [despite the elite Democratic government shutdown,] the Trump economy is taking off
There! Fixed it.
We have one party in this country that, when out of power openly roots for the economy to tank. Then when they are in power actively works to punish Americans by tanking the economy. And a sizable portion of our population votes for those asshoes.
Trump has the doesn’t have a problem he’s on the right track for logic and MAGA he’s far ahead of his foes ability to understand what works and what doesn’t work.
You gotta admit that he doesn’t have the filer that tells him to not say something.
None required he gets it right it’s what ticks off so many who don’t know how things operate properly.
The prices at the grocery store don’t feel like it.
Eggs is cheap.
“The prices at the grocery store don’t feel like it.”
Guess it depends on what you buy at the grocery store:

Beef, however, continues to climb.
For a long time, Democrats faulted Reagan for “wanting to turn back the clock.” Democrats thought that inflation was permanent. Stopping inflation would dramatically worsen employment. Reagan proved them wrong.
Now we’re told that illegal immigrants do the work that Americans refuse to do. I think we can get by. Welfare may be part of the mix. One Trumpian said (as I recall) the safety net is supposed to be a trampoline, not a recliner.
| One Trumpian said: the safety net is supposed to be a trampoline, not a recliner. * * * Outstanding... an image that's already fixed in my brain! Thanks, ChessExpert. |
Even assuming that's true, that's no excuse to bring in human beings to use as chattel to exploit and pay them relatively little for their labor.
That argument they use is ethically suspicious, to say the least.
Well to paraphrase Ernest Thayer “There is no joy in Democratville tonight’’.
Thanks. I can only take credit for repeating it. Now, it’s your turn to pass it on!
