ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WLUK) -- A pair of fundraisers have been launched after video of an incident at the Cinnabon stand at Bay Park Square Mall in Ashwaubenon went viral.
As FOX 11 first reported Saturday, a Cinnabon employee was fired after she was caught on camera using racial slurs toward a Somali couple.
The video has garnered tens of millions of views globally across X, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.
The two fundraisers are competing against each other. One is in support of the two Somali customers who recorded the video and the other is for the terminated Cinnabon worker.
So far, the GoFundMe for the Somali husband and wife has garnered more than $5,000 out of its $45,000 goal. The fundraiser, which was started by a cousin of the couple, identifies one of the customers as Farhia Ahmed.
According to the fundraiser's page, the money raised will be used for legal fees. It's unclear what legal action is potentially being taken, but the GoFundMe calls it a fight against racism.
Meanwhile, the fundraiser for the former Cinnabon worker, who is white, has raised more than $118,000 of its now $271,301 goal. In this fundraiser's description, the worker is simply identified as "Crystal."

What’s really shocking is that Crystal’s fund raiser is still being allowed to keep going by GoFundMe.
It is on GiveSendGo
Hopefully the sooner the better.
My thoughts exactly.
Agreed.
Pronto.
It was not “they were Somalis”.
Do you know what they said to her to start off this incident?
Probably not....
I think the money for her is more about fatigue of the brown population.
That explains her good fortune.
Research the girl behind the counter and her shady past and I am convinced this is a paid production.
What did she say? Nothing offensive like “prismatic head” I hope.
My lifelong strategy has been to avoid directly confronting enemies face to face in the open.
Began from my sickly childhood including rheumatic fever in the 2nd grade, followed by being bullied for being too skinny (not a problem for me today).
I’m not proud of some sabotage for which I asked God’s forgiveness, but for others I see no need to sacrifice one’s future or life and safety by confronting evil creatures in public. Especially with the self-appointed Coppola and Cassavetes viral video cinematography sidewalk directors today. With their shaky videos.
On Jesse Watters tonight a bold, arrogant Somali guy boasted he was going to “pop” any ICE agents or cops who try to confront a Somali. Smirking.
Walz, Mayor Jacob Frey and Ilhan Omar can raise millions in a moment if a Somali needs it.
She was wearing her hair down and not in a hajib so they started suggesting the she was intentionally being enticing/kinda slutty.
Oddly that first second or so of the exchange isnt always shown. Almost like a narrative was being developed.
I would boycott Cinnabon but I dont eat their crap anyway.
They began filming after provoking her, left momentarily and returned, about 3 times. Each time trying to provoke a response, they did.
And don’t forget to get all the Haitian’s too. They’re too lazy.
The waitress may be been Joy Hickey from “My Name is Earl” but I’m hearing reports the Somalis were trying to force her to wear Hijab.
Now I ask any of you FReepers how many of you would have been polite without hand jesters if Moose Limbs here in America were trying to force/pressure you to do that?
Is that Dennis Rader?
“”It was not “they were Somalis”.

.
I have been around a few of them.
It was MORE than enough to see what the really are.
Inbreeds, near-retarded, bug-eyed loudmouth idiots.
“What was said” could be as simple as `morning!
That is literally all it can take.
Ship them out in super-galaxies, c-17s, cargo ships, anything.
Looks like a Tom Selleck.
