Russia has been called gas station to the world. Now Russia has trouble being gas station to Russia. One perk of being a Roooski has always been cheap gasoline...but not anymore.

I don't know about where you live, but gas here in central NY hasn't been below $3.00 for years. It's $3.09 currently where I live.
