Hubby’s a goose egg.
I’m a sweet young thing, so I’m a 1.

Me too, got them all, and they left out storing software on punched paper tape.

I remember using a 1200 baud modem and a TT4014 emulator on my Mac SE 30 to run a CAD program at home, instead of going back to the office. First WFH experience.
To: Magnum44
That I never had.
Lots of my toys were hand me downs or garage sale finds so I generally played with things that were about a decade old.

I scored a big fat zero. And I still do many of them today.
Thank goodness there were no questions about slide rules. That really would have dated me.

P.S. I still have mine. So I’ll be okay if an energy crisis renders calculators useless.

Anyone notice "Valkman?" Or paid with a paper "chick?"
To: mewzilla
But are we the only ones who still use some of this stuff?

“How about 4-track tapes?”
Nope... unless you’re referring to reel-to-reel tapes which I did “play” with. First time I heard Joe Walsh with the James Gang.

I was given one as a kid, but never had to use it in a class. It was good for learning certain math concepts.

“Listened to a vinyl record”
78, 33 1/3 or 45? And does shellac count?
To: ProtectOurFreedom
0 Points. They’re called Memories.
And I still own all my old floppies, audio tapes, many VHS, walkmans are in a drawer somewhere, boombox did bite the dust with my reel to reel. Now I collect postcards older than me, have a shelf in the hall filled with paper maps and miss them when I’m having trouble with my Nav unit. I do still have a collection of CEDs, if anyone knows what those are, as well as some 1” video tapes. Have a HUGE dictionary but think I probably gave up the encyclopedia. I do, however, still own every Little Golden Book I ever had.
Betting there’s a rotary dial phone in the upstairs office, along with a row of records that spans the width of the room. Still have the camera but pretty sure the typewriter went out when the selectric came in. Remember typing so fast that the keys stick together at the paper? Still have grandfather’s camera that folded flat with the film still in it that he shot before his stroke.
The ultimate packrat here. We’ve lived in one house for 50 years and still have EVERYTHING!
