A study by FinanceBuzz used Google Trends to figure out which Christmas song is the trendiest in each state, with a variety of familiar tracks making it on the list. You might be surprised by the results.

Definitely. Any song that refers simply to “Christmas” isn’t a Christmas song in my book.
Don’t even ask about Santa, Frosty, Rudolph, Mr. Grinch, the Chipmunks, etc., etc.
I see why Santa Bay here. Eartha Kitt was from a town just 20km from home.
But for me?
Put the blame on Dr. LaRoche. My voice is Baroque and I find Top 40 is annoying.

How about “Grandma got run over by a reindeer.”
I got run over by Regulardeer a half dozen times.
I was in a car. Two of the cars died.

Rollicking Italian number.
Because I am the son of a WW2 vet, I am a sucker for WW2 era songs like White Christmas and the epically sad Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas because of their stories. Growing up a huge Presbyterian church, I also love Organ and Choir songs. St Martin in the Fields, Mormon Tabernacle, Prague Philharmonic, Choir of Kings College, etc.
Personally, I didn't find the song itself that dreadful. I'd skip the video and just listen to the audio, the video is depressing and designed to shock. Yoko doesn't screech and scream, so her vocal contribution is tolerable. Saying that it's not awful is faint praise, so this isn't an endorsement. Only a total cynic like John Lennon would turn a Christmas song into a protest song.
