You may want to consider which state you’re in when you put together your Christmas playlist this season.
A study by FinanceBuzz used Google Trends to figure out which Christmas song is the trendiest in each state, with a variety of familiar tracks making it on the list. You might be surprised by the results.

Can’t stand the Mariah Crazy song, but at least it’s not as annoying as the Paul McCartney one, of the barking dog jingle bells
My two favorites of all time are, ‘Carol of the Bells’ (any version, sung or instrumental) and ‘Merry Christmas Darling’ by the incomparable Karen Carpenter.
And any Christmas songs sung by Elvis, Nat King Cole, or Bing Crosby. :)
I’ve been in MA my whole life and I am utterly unaware of “Little Saint Nick”.
I reckon “Blue Christmas” is #1 in Tennessee and Arkansas because of Elvis.

Hmmm…. Felix Navidad is big in TX and FL. What could possibly be the connection?
And Last Christmas big in CA and WA… Not sure, it’s odd, you could say it’s queer.
