You may want to consider which state you’re in when you put together your Christmas playlist this season.
A study by FinanceBuzz used Google Trends to figure out which Christmas song is the trendiest in each state, with a variety of familiar tracks making it on the list. You might be surprised by the results.
“All I Want for Christmas Is You”
“Jingle Bells”
“Santa Baby”
“Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!”
“Run Rudolph Run”
“Blue Christmas”
“Feliz Navidad”
“It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”
“A Holly Jolly Christmas”
“Last Christmas”
“White Christmas”
It’s a cheesy Beach Boys song.
I kept hoping and praying there would be just one about Jesus.
In no particular order...
“Silver Bells” by Doris Day
“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” by Gene Autry
“Felice Navidad” by Jose Feliciano
“Mary’s Boy Child” by Boney M.
“Scarlet Ribbons” by the Cats (or Jim Reeves)
Bruce Springsteen Run Run Rudolph. 😩😩😩😩😩😩🤢🤮
My thought too. No Jesus at all? That is most sad, if true. I would bet, though, that somewhere the favorite is “Silent Night” or “Away in a Manger” or something Christ-centered.
Ugh. Explains why we hear almost only Christmas slop on the radio. Not one of the really good songs on the list.
Joy to the World - composed by none other than George Freakin’ Handel.
I found out that Qobuz has a 2000 song limit when I reached it doing my Christmas playlist. My Spotify list has 1300 songs.
There is something festive about Advent songs sung in Latin and German by choirs. I also like big band versions that were popular during WW2 for our homesick soldiers.
No! No! Bad dog.

Cheers! everyone.
No Christmas hymns?
You’d figure in the Democrat-Run cities this would be the most popular
