The Russian military has more armored vehicles than it did on the eve of Russia's wider war on Ukraine in February 2022. And for one main reason.
Despite losing as many as 16,100 vehicles in action in Ukraine, the Russians have more than compensated for these losses by pulling nearly 13,000 old vehicles out of long-term storage—and complementing these older vehicles with around 4,000 brand-new vehicles.

“The ‘intelligence services’ are stating an 8:1 ratio of Russian to Ukraine losses.”
The same ‘intelligence’ services that insisted that Trump ‘colluded’ with Russia, Hunter’s Laptop was fake, Russia would be a pushover, and Iraq had WMDs?
Anyway, we’re still waiting to see some EVIDENCE of these ‘huge’ Russian losses - like battlefields full of bodies, human waves, etc. Ukraine has drones, Europe has drones and satellites, and the Neocons have shitloads of drones and satellites.
...so where might this evidence of ‘huge’ Russian losses be found?
Total losses nyet ! Only stronker !!1
Exactly. We're still waiting and there's no evidence at all.
By the way, what are your estimate of the Russian losses ?
“By the way, what are your estimate of the Russian losses ?”
I don’t have an estimate, but I agree with BBC as they actually RESEARCHED IT (rather than taking Zelensky’s word), which is around 200,000.
“So 200k KIA’s are not huge losses ?”
0.1% of Russia’s population? Not for a war of this type, not at all.
That's a very stronk comment. So what scale of losses would be unacceptable ?
“So what scale of losses would be unacceptable ?”
Something approaching WW2 losses, based on their history.
10 mln ? 20 ?
Probably the lower number, given their smaller population. So, long way to go...maybe in 100+ years, Russia’s losses will be unbearable.
“Meanwhile the Russian motorbikes and doorless cars are much lighter and more agile and you can only hit one soldier at a time on a bike. The soldiers are also able to fling themselves clear at the last second from the doorless vehicles.”
AI Overview
Russian forces are using donkeys and horses for logistics in the Ukraine war due to a high number of destroyed vehicles and resupply challenges. Russian officials have defended the use of pack animals, citing the difficulty in getting supplies to the front lines and arguing that it is better for a donkey to be lost than a soldier.
Logistical necessity: Russian soldiers are using donkeys and horses to carry ammunition, food, and other supplies because their trucks and other vehicles are being destroyed at a high rate.

Executive Summary:
A recent report from the Royal United Services Institute shows data on the production rates of Russian arms, including the manufacturing of BMP-3 armored vehicles from the Kurganmashzavod (KMZ) manufacturing company, the only producer of this vehicle.
Despite increasing employees, working hours, and machine tools, there is no evidence that the BMP-3 production rate changed in 2024, meaning Russia cannot sufficiently restock its army.
Russia’s long war and the continuing degradation of its economy are evident in the state of its military-industrial complex, which is increasingly unable to keep up with demand.
RUSI is not a credible outfit, and has been a consistent British delusional cheerleader for this war from the beginning.
Mark Rutte himself said it: Russia is outproducing NATO four to one.

This war is over. NATO/Ukraine has lost.
“This war is over. NATO/Ukraine has lost.”
I saw that post in February, 2022.
Your link: “Russia builds in 3 months what the entirety of NATO does in a year - 1,500 tanks, 3,000 vehicles, 200 Iskanders.”
Your source is Putin propaganda. Not to be believed.
Although the increase in Russian tank production had far exceeded Western expectations, the investigators noted that it remained far from sufficient to keep up with the rates of losses in the Ukrainian theatre, which were by some estimates close to 1000 tanks annually in 2023 and 2024, and higher in 2022.

I don’t get your logic. You said that Russia doesn’t belong to G7. Why shouldn’t it belong to another club then?
The same source in 2022 predicted that Russia is going to run out of rations and ammunition by March that year.
Nope
