A Danish sperm bank has introduced a minimum IQ requirement of 85 for potential donors. This new rule has sparked debate about genetics, ethics, and parental expectations in assisted reproduction.
Setting a Minimum Intelligence Standard The Danish sperm bank Donor Network now screens donors by intelligence, becoming the first in the world to require a minimum IQ of 85. It also bars anyone with a criminal record. So far, the company has turned away about 18 percent of applicants who failed to meet the IQ standard.
The average IQ is about 100, and researchers estimate that intelligence is 50–80 percent hereditary. The bank’s director says smarter donors may give children a better chance at strong educational and economic outcomes. His goal, he adds, is to give single women and couples more confidence when choosing a donor.

I see a possible amendment to our Constitution to cover this. Just as soon as the libs get any power they will put freedom of stupidity to the first amendment allowing sperm under an 85 I.Q. to be used. But if the sperm are that stupid, how do they know where to go when the are deployed?

If the Chinese were as smart as they say they are then they wouldn’t have to steal so much of our IP (Intellectual Property). They literally have over 4 times as many brains as we do and yet they can’t invent their own stuff and have put themselves in a huge shortage of marriage aged women.

IQ has been going down since 1975.
One standard deviation from the IQ average is 87, a normative that at 85 was normally ascribed as 'moron.' Below average is no way to start, Son.

They have to keep the IQ at a level that will encourage donors.
85 is really low. I think that’s the very well tested military limit because they tested and discovered that folks below that were often unable to follow simple, basic instructions.
This country is producing more students at that level from its public schools, with many shuffling along to college, than most Americans begin to realize.
DMV would call them hired.
