Lizzo believes we, as a society, must “undo the effects of the Ozempic boom” because plus-sized women are being “erased.”
The musician, 37, took to Substack on Sunday to share an essay titled, “Why is everybody losing weight and what do we do? Sincerely, a person who’s lost weight.”
Lizzo, who began shedding pounds in the fall of 2023 following a very public harassment and hostile work environment scandal, confessed that the ordeal made her “deeply suicidal.”

“We’re in an era where the bigger girls are getting smaller because they’re tired of being judged. And now those bigger girls are being judged for getting smaller by the very community they used to empower,” she argued.
“There’s nothing wrong with living in a bigger body. There’s nothing wrong with being fat. But if a woman wants to change, she should be allowed to change.”
According to Lizzo, “extended sizes are being magically erased from websites,” “plus sized models are no longer getting booked for modeling gigs” and “all of our big girls are not-so big anymore.”

Idiot Lizzo, whoever that is. It’s simple, lady, smaller is healthier.
She’s right, and it’s stupid. The first recent person to suffer from it was Adele. When she lost a bunch of weight the fatties came out and complained about it. Then when Lizzo did it, GOOD HEAVENS!
I heard a GREAT quote the other day that applies here: “Did you notice that when Ozempic came out you stopped hearing about ‘Body Positivity’?”
Sugar also drives inflammation that causes health problems. According to the American Heart Association, women should have no more than 25g of added sugar a day, and men only 37g - that’s 6 teaspoons and 9 teaspoons, respectively!
One can carry a little extra weight and still be generally healthy; however, people were praising morbidly obese and those approaching that state to the detriment of those who were in either category.
Plus-sized models have a place in showing plus-sized customers how an article of clothing would look on them, but just having them in a photo shoot for diversity’s sake is absurd.
‘Look at me, me, me, me, Meeee!!’
"Plus-sized women are being ‘erased’"
They are voluntarily losing weight, handle your own weight however you please, nobody cares.
Can we call her a snowflake without being racist?
I was going to use “r——t” but a friend said we should recapture the language
for proper use - such as rainbow and gay and giving back and so many others.
I’d say it had more to do with the drug OD she had that night.
But Fat-Bottomed Girls Make the rockin world go round.
Its a good thing. Being obese provides zero health benefits.
Overweight women are not being erased. The large majority of American women are overweight or obese. And lizzard, black wimmin are by a demographic, 85% overweight or obese.
So dont worry, it will take a long time to get them to a decent healthy weight.
I haven’t noticed any decrease in the number of fat people.
And if you don’t want to be judged, exercise some self-control. Eating better and exercising can go a long way to achieving the same ends. I wonder how much of that she actually tried. Taking a pill is the lazy way out.
And then whining when it works.......
That’s a leftist for you. Nothing is ever good enough for them.
Yes there is something wrong with living in a fat body
I thought eating excess carbs does that. It gets converted to fat by the excess insulin in the body when someone has insulin resistance. I understood the insulin resistance is what drives the inflammation.
Eating the right kind of fat is good for you. Being fat is an indicator of insulin resistance.
I don’t understand what the hell she’s complaining about here. She’s got significant weight loss and somehow that’s unfair to someone for what exactly? Everybody deserves ....what exactly?
Be sure to check out the South Park episode The End Obesity. It is hilarious.
I know that we've all read plenty of news articles about the problems of obese air passengers (and the woes of the other passengers sitting next to them). But I'm 6'4" and 225 lbs, and have always barely been able to squeeze into Economy Class seats.
How do these women manage it? I mean: At all?!
Regards,
She be crying now? Wait until her teeth fall out and she gets to wear her very own poop bag. Write a song about that Lizzo. I dare you.
