Experts Say AI Could Replace The Jobs Of Not Only Humans, But Also Lawyers

A startling new study says Artificial Intelligence may be close to replacing many jobs for humans, and many jobs occupied by lawyers as well.

"AI is a wonderful tool that can help people in many amazing ways," explained lead researcher Stan Marsden. "But we worry it will soon replace a significant number of jobs that humans hold in the workplace. It might also take jobs from lawyers and other non-human entities as well."

The study showed a startling trend as AI replaces human-held jobs at a faster and faster rate. Job experts worry that many humans and lawyers might be out of work sometime in the next 10 years.

"If you think your job is safe, think again," Mardsen warns. "There are many jobs that people and even attorneys occupy that will soon become easily performed by artificial intelligence. We can't let our human and lawyer population deal with unemployment at levels like this. It's going to be tough."

At publishing time, experts also warned AI might replace human jobs as well as jobs held by Instagram influencers.

I don’t think AI will replace automotive techs. That’s what I did. As far as replacing lawyers, I wonder if that’s what happened in Minnesota when that judge dropped the suit on the Somalians? If so, I think our nation can live without that kind of lawyering.

AI could replace offensive and defensive coordinators.

AI could replace HR. It would need to be programed to hire the most profitable employee.

A stealthy Babylon Bee piece. Excellent.

I started to develop a snide comment about lawyers not being human until I read the byline.

Once AI replaces lawyers it will be impossible to get rid of all the lawyers.

Lol.

...lawyers and other non-human entities...

Yup, lawyers aren't human, so that makes sense!

How will AI algorithms be declared racist when they use nothing but information freely available?

Turns out that AI can lie and make stuff up even faster than a lawyer.

Who’d a thunk it?

You could replace HR with one of those drinking birds on a swivel.

Put a list of candidates out, dab some ink on bird's nose and let him bob for 10 seconds.

Interview those candidates that have ink on their name.

100% improvement in hiring.

Kid#1: “My mommy is a lawyer!”
Kid#2: “Honest??!?”
Kid#1: “Nah, the usual kind.”

You’re right, I’m sure.
Job-seekers are all using AI to write their resumes.
Meanwhile corporate HR departments are all using AI to screen applications and resumes.
Result: no one is getting hired.
I read that on the interwebz so it must be true. I think the source was serious, but the idea makes me LOL.

Heck you could do that back 40 years ago.

Well, 30 anyway.

That was when I was doing payroll and benefits because HR could not be bothered with actually doing their job.

They gradually got worse and worse at picking people to interview. There was no attempt to match the person to the real needs for the position. Mostly because they had no idea of what the position actual entailed.

Yeah.... I don't much like people in HR. There might be a few who are actually good and decent people who do their job. But I think I have only met one.
