Up to 15 KM...or over 9 miles.

That’ll allow it to go worldwide depending on the amount.

There is also no such thing as a “super” volcano.

I think the Northern Hawaiian chain would be considerd extinct volcanos. It is the source hot spot underneath that forms the volcanos that is continuously active.
