I really don’t care. I eat Campbells chicken noodle, split pea, and tomato on the regular and that doesn’t include the variety of Chunky soups I buy for quick easy lunches. it does its job and tastes fine with some crushed saltines. Guess I’m poor people.
Campbell’s soup has about 2000mg sodium per can. He’s not lying about it being garbage. Unfortunately most canned food is pretty bad.

Now that there’s a hidden camera in everyone’s pocket, a Jeffrey Epstein-like blackmail economy is developing. Newsweak would have never run this story had Campbell’s paid regular bribes for advertisements nobody reads, and the employee was running a blackmail operation for a salary increase. One thing Campbell’s has going for it is that their best customers are too busy being poor to read Newsweak.

Campbells is OK as a quick light meal or as an ingredient in some recipes. Since everybody carries a camera / video recorder with them at all times these days, people ought to watch what they say - especially those with lots to lose from careless talk. It’s kind of like the old west - you stayed civil because everyone had a gun on their hip.

Reading the article doesn’t persuade me of wrongdoing at Campbell’s except possibly the firing of this employee.
Apparently this VP is in IT and has nothing to do with anything he was talking about.
Except maybe about Indian IT employees and what was he really saying about them? Something about not thinking for themselves.
His spouting against Campbell products is ignorant and inappropriate, but not accurate and not unlawful.
So this IT VP dope said stupid stuff at dinner, got recorded, the employee complained and got fired.
It’s a set up, designed to embarrass the company and bring a lawsuit.
If he was so shocked by what the VP said, why was he already recording the VP, which is pretty creepy to begin with.
This is almost up there with Bud Light Tranny in “how to destroy your brand” marketing.
I tried progreso and wanted to like it but it’s not just as good as Campbell.
