As much as we hate to promote the infamously gay Dallas Cowboys football franchise, we had to share this incredible play with you.
Meet Alijah Clark, a 22-year-old rookie from Syracuse.

Dallas Cowboys
Just last year, he was playing college ball; now he's a safety for the Cowboys.
With just a few minutes to go in the 4th quarter and the score tied, the Cowboys were forced to punt the ball.
After the kick went off, Alijah Clark got absolutely blasted by Eagles safety Sydney Brown:

But this dude was just getting started.

Watch as Clark gets up not once, but twice, and sprints all the way down the field to tackle the punt returner and force a fumble:
This effort by #Cowboys rookie Alijah Clark really caught my attention.
Incredible. And it's one every team should show their players. pic.twitter.com/pOXFm8RTbo— Jordan Schultz (@Schultz_Report) November 24, 2025

Here's another angle showing the fumble:

That’s why you never give up. All effort! pic.twitter.com/NvbM3tOtlw— Dominic White (@DomWWhite) November 24, 2025
Early responses online are already calling this the play of the year.

Even former Heisman winner RGIII took notice:

Alijah Clark is going places.

Ping!................
Saw it live. Amazing. But the Jameis TD was even better
Schottenheimer is doing good things. I wish the Gators would have hired him when they had the chance.
Did he have some crab legs?...............
The Lions make every quarterback look good.
Tee Hee. But Jameis has changed a lot since then, he’s a pretty good guy. He’s the perfect backup quarterback to have on your team.
Hard-working individuals playing sports. Lots do incredible things in any game on any day.
Effort comes in many guises. Alijah Clark is one, and he deserves all the kudos he is getting. Damar Hamlin is another. Yoshinobu Yamamoto is another. Then there are people who keep pushing themselves every day, in a thousand professions, including on the job, strengthening marriages, and raising children.
Thanks
That is the precise moment I stopped watching g the Cowboys and the NHL

Well; after the coffee kicks in.
Author is obviously a homer because I’ve watched Josh Jacobs carry half the defense on his back into the end zone on more than one occasion. Fact.
Yes I was thinking if the same exact thing. Greatest hustle play I have ever seen.
Meet Alijah Clark, a 22-year-old rookie from Syracuse..
.......
The Syracuse that lost 70-7 to Notre Dame the day before?
It starts to make sense if they had those guys last year but not this year.
Go Patriots! But every team could use a guy like that. Too bad that play wasn’t in the Superbowl. It would be the season’s highlight!
Go Bills!
Saw this play and my wife said that Brown’s grandchildren felt that hit ...
Never give up Alijah!
