This was an exercise that someone nurtured for several years by using LexusNexus to look for things associated with Global Warming in the media, newspapers, magazines, online, etc. They eventually gave up in 2012 trying to keep it up to date.

One has to admire their pluck in trying to showcase the ridiculousness of it.

I cannot stand this crap. Everyone has problems. Some people have serious problems. But that is the human condition.

I was at lunch the other day with my wife, and I heard two women at a nearby table talking about their “therapists”.

I think this focus is sick.

There are people who are absolutely in need of mental health assistance and should get it. But there is a whole culture of people who THINK they need it but really don’t. They need to get on with living.

That’s a bit subjective a thing to measure.

Reminds me, though, of something I heard, I think it was from Dobson, that dementia risk can be somewhat predicted by kid’s behavior in school. Apparently, the kids with the neat as a pin desk turned out to be highest risk for dementia.

My wife and her mother were both in nursing; they both said, without question, dementia patients were some of th3 meanest people they ever dealt with. I believe them - my MIL, who we took into our home in her last years, got dementia and was NOT a nice person in that time.
