back to ice age again!

LMAO

I wonder how many environmentalists will start protesting to increase polution and coal fired power plants to help save us from the comming ice age?

None, that is how many. Since warming was just a BS excuse to get what they wanted.

Climate data and solar activity cycle data have consistently signalled an ice age for the late 2020s. We should have been burning as much fossil fuels as we could to stave off massive agricultural disruption.

Instead we have invited the greatest of all climactic threats: ice age.

They predicted an ice age 50 years ago. I guess since nothing else worked they thought they’d go for a rerun.

An ice age would mean lower sea levels

For what it's worth, the Little Ice Age had a 50-year warming period from roughly AD 1470 to 1520 before continuing the cooling. In the expanded graph below, ignore the exaggeration of the rise in temps in the modern warm period (making the modern warm period look like we're warming more than ever).

I point out the 50 year warming during the LIA as a way to say I'm not too worried about the possible brief cooling we've experienced during the Modern Warm Period. With the Modern Warm Period being 1.5 to 2 centuries old, if it lasts as long as the prior couple of warming periods we've probably got 2 to 4 more centuries before it tops out.

And this new ‘ice’ age will be the result of... You guessed it... Global Warming.

See... Al Gore was right all along... Except the snows of Mount Kilimanjaro are still on Mount Kilimanjaro and they aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.

AI: The Red Chinese Yellow Peril is currently building more coal-fired power plants, with a significant increase in construction activity noted in recent years, while the inscrutable chopsticks’ Lysenko shills lecture us on the perils of glowbull warming.
A few hydrogen bombs would keep them warm.

Since I was young an ice age has been a climate change that does worry me, the West needs to develop it’s nuclear and coal energy industries.

Hotter, Colder, or the same as today, plentiful, dependable, cheap, energy is what the common man’s home, his workplace, and his food producers need.

I already know what the solution will be-- turn over all the levers of political and economic power to the self-appointed "smart people" who will save us from the next climate catastrophe.

What do I win? Higher taxes and more restrictions?

Oh noes, the prediction is west Texas and east New Mexico would get a 20-25% increase in rainfall during summer, which is our dryest period.

Milder, wetter, winters due to trapped heat in the Gulf.

Damn shame for my cattle.

This is an idea that has been making the rounds for decades with very reasonable studies indication the AMOC is not in danger.

I thought we were all going to roast because of global warming.

Do you suppose global warming and the ice age could cancel each other out?
