for some more doom stuff—there are three storms and itsd feared they will join together to create a Carrington Event...Yippee... BTW we had borealias last night in NOrthern California. Storm coming in so cloudy skies tonight..

And yet, no carmakers ever named anything after Uranus.
I guess God decided to put on a light show last night for some of His people who had never seen it before. I hope He makes one again tonight.
I myself would love to see the light show. Hopefully I can catch at least a glimpse this evening.
For me, fear-porners are at their most irritating when they get excited about things like the glorious weather we’ve been having here, then in the next breath solemnly list various bad things that COULD happen.
I see that behavior every year during tornado season. For example, there’s always celebrating when a really bad storm misses populated areas. But then some porner or other inevitably chimes in with “. . . but it COULD ramp back up . . More storms COULD develop . . . We’re not out of the woods yet . . . “
Regardless, I’m going to hope for a good view tonight.

Well metmom, so far all HF frequencies have been behaving pretty poorly—that is one aspect of these geomagnetic storms so far. Let’s hope it goes no further. But if we wake up tomorrow and the fridge isn’t humming and the toaster isn’t toasting, then its a new day indeed...
