Stephen King did not hold back, going against James Woods' political post against New York City mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani. King has spoken up on politics
Stephen King came to Zohram Mamdani's defense after James Woods sent out a political message.
The horror author replied to the actor on X, formerly known as Twitter, after Woods expressed how people were "easily fooled" by Mamdani's promises to the city of New York. Mamdani recently won the Mayoral election against Andrew Cuomo, an independent candidate and former governor of New York, and republican candidate Curtis Sliwa.
Woods wrote on the platform, "Wait a minute. So this little commie is, of course, promising free stuff to everybody, BUT he’s asking for money from his constituents before he even takes office. It’s just sickening how easily fooled people can be. If schools stopped teaching DEI and 'gender' nonsense, and stuck to history, social studies, and economics, this guy would be panhandling under a bridge."

The IT author quote replied to the post and wrote, "I agree that it's sickening how easily people can be fooled. Look who they elected President!"
Woods was replying to Mamdani's video post, thanking New Yorkers for their vote after making history. Mamdani will be the first Muslim Mayor of New York City.

In the video, the Mayor-elect tells New Yorkers that they could start donating to transition2025.com because the transition will require "staff, research, and an infrastructure that can meet this moment."
Some of the things Mamdani has promised New Yorkers includes lowering the cost of rent, free buses and more.
This is not the first time King has spoken out again Trump.
The Shining author has openly endorsed "No Kings" protests, which Trump supporters have labeled as "Hate America" rallies.
Massive crowds of demonstrators marched and assembled throughout the U.S. on Saturday, October 18, to protest what they perceive as the government's rapid slide toward authoritarianism under Trump. Protesters took to the streets in major cities including New York City, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago and Los Angeles.
House Speaker Mike Johnson circulated an article claiming that the demonstrations were being bankrolled by George Soros' foundations and took to X, "It turns out the 'Hate America' Rallies tomorrow are being funded by the billionaire who hates America the MOST. Anyone surprised?"
King fired back at his remarks, writing on X, "They are actually Love America rallies, Mike. Ordinary people, man, trying to save the country from a despot."
Is it Groundhog Day with this excerpt? It keeps repeating itself over and over. And I was the idiot who kept reading lol
Well. Steven King lives in his own little World, doesn’t He?
The first book of his I ever read was Salem's Lot. It was the offer from Doubleday Book Club. I read The Stand, Cujo, The Shining, The Dead Zone and Firestarter, The Tommyknockers, and others. I think the last book of his I read was Rose Madder. Nothing after that. I got away from him, moved to Preston and Child's "Pendergast" novels, and into historical mystery series, also non-fiction history.
installed....not elected
It’s also sickening how certain prolific authors of schlock pop-horror novels insist on engaging in political commentary, instead of staying in their lanes...
Shut Up And Write.
I did not know that. I read a little of his boy’s stuff, ‘Joe Hunt’? and he’s as bad as his pappy, unreadable due to TDS.
She likes the money though and King’s vitriol has caused a lot of his former fans to 86 him and his trash fiction larded with hate for non-democrats.
Exactly. That guy must be paid by the effin’ pound for his books...more pages produced per hour than James Michener!
King bringing a puny knife to a gunfight of brains with Woods.
Exactly.
I never heard that he was a pedo. Where do you get that?
/
The ending of the unabridged version of his book IT.
An 0rgy of kids to save the day.
Pure pedo perv sicko.
I was pissed after reading hundreds of pages and got to that ending, as soon as I realized what I read
It left me physically ill
I’ve not read one more word of that sick #&-$ ‘s books since.
Well not so much an orgy, a
” pulling a train “
on the preteen girl character .
In short , sex among children .
Yeah nick really doesn’t he? lol
/s
I hate reading posts with repeated paragraphs.......
NO KINGS!
And especially NO Stephen Kings!
King berating ANYONE for being easily fooled (after some of his latest gaffs) is yet another sign of his rapidly advancing dementia. The man needs help.
Stephen King loves Mandami because Zohran is a horror show.
Its his next novel.
The Stand is fantastic. My other favorite was Salem’s Lot.
Writes good fiction but pretty much wrong about everything else.
King is a dolt.
