Stephen King did not hold back, going against James Woods' political post against New York City mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani. King has spoken up on politics
Stephen King came to Zohram Mamdani's defense after James Woods sent out a political message.
The horror author replied to the actor on X, formerly known as Twitter, after Woods expressed how people were "easily fooled" by Mamdani's promises to the city of New York. Mamdani recently won the Mayoral election against Andrew Cuomo, an independent candidate and former governor of New York, and republican candidate Curtis Sliwa.
Woods wrote on the platform, "Wait a minute. So this little commie is, of course, promising free stuff to everybody, BUT he’s asking for money from his constituents before he even takes office. It’s just sickening how easily fooled people can be. If schools stopped teaching DEI and 'gender' nonsense, and stuck to history, social studies, and economics, this guy would be panhandling under a bridge."

The IT author quote replied to the post and wrote, "I agree that it's sickening how easily people can be fooled. Look who they elected President!"
Woods was replying to Mamdani's video post, thanking New Yorkers for their vote after making history. Mamdani will be the first Muslim Mayor of New York City.

In the video, the Mayor-elect tells New Yorkers that they could start donating to transition2025.com because the transition will require "staff, research, and an infrastructure that can meet this moment."
Some of the things Mamdani has promised New Yorkers includes lowering the cost of rent, free buses and more.
This is not the first time King has spoken out again Trump.
The Shining author has openly endorsed "No Kings" protests, which Trump supporters have labeled as "Hate America" rallies.
Massive crowds of demonstrators marched and assembled throughout the U.S. on Saturday, October 18, to protest what they perceive as the government's rapid slide toward authoritarianism under Trump. Protesters took to the streets in major cities including New York City, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago and Los Angeles.
House Speaker Mike Johnson circulated an article claiming that the demonstrations were being bankrolled by George Soros' foundations and took to X, "It turns out the 'Hate America' Rallies tomorrow are being funded by the billionaire who hates America the MOST. Anyone surprised?"
King fired back at his remarks, writing on X, "They are actually Love America rallies, Mike. Ordinary people, man, trying to save the country from a despot."
If you haven’t watched Rogan’s recent interview if Musk, you should. Elon mentions the “woke mind virus” several times.
Woods is right and King should stick to writing out his fevered dreams and turning those dark thoughts into novels.
RE: Dipwad hasn’t wrote anything worth reading in over 30 years.
“Stephen King’s estimated net worth is consistently reported as being around $500 million, though some estimates place it between $400 and $600 million.”
He has published more than 60 novels and sold over 350 million copies.”
He must be referring to Biden.
Please no. I would rather him stop writing all his books, and keep tweeting his stupid opinions. And hopefully retract all his books and movies.
And look who they elected before that. The people can indeed be fooled.
Got it.
Got it.
Got it.
Got it.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Welcome to Derry?
We should turn this into a ‘Liberal Boneheads With Terminal Trump Derangement’ thread.
I’ll go next: Keef Olderwomann and Ron Perlman.
Exactly!
Along with every other libtard in Tinseltown.
For once the TDSers are right. NO “KINGS”!!
I think they will never stop as they see twitter as theirs and x as Elon’s.
Dipwad hasn't wrote anything worth reading in over 30 years
I just looooved the first few King books. The Stand, with its fight between good and evil is fantastic.
The Dead Zone
The Shining
Firestarter
The Langoliers ate his brain.
Ive said before about King, when I heard that he was almost killed in a car accident, I said the other car was not going fast enough.
I’ve noticed that he always manages to get a dig in against his hated enemies: non-democrats.
In The Shining remake that he booted—Kubrick’s imho, is much better—when the caretaker is showing Jack and whatshername the Presidential suite in the Overlook, he tells them about the presidents who stayed in the room, including Nixon: “But we don’t talk about him much ha ha”
King sucks. Who hurt him? He has this vicious streak about anything not Carter/Obama/Biden et al.
I’m pretty sure his agent and wife must beg him to keep his trap shut.
no his wife is as offensive as he is
Matched set of unpleasant weirds.
"No Kings" King showed up unarmed to a battle of wits with Wood.
