“Do you deny that part?”
No. I would not deny you the chance to get on your morally superior high horse and grandstand across the internet.
“Wow!! What a man!! See how he condenms Hitler. Very few people have done that. See how his heart aches over it.”
You can do the research on how a large part of Kirk’s troops supported Fuentes.
It is true Charlie was not happy about it—but he was learning he had to figure out a way to deal with it.
That's gibberish. Charlie couldn't stand him or his views. Whether there were some guys gaming in their parents' basement who happened to like both of them just because they like conflict doesn't make them the kind of people with whom the GOP should be associated. They will cost us far more votes than they gain.
And regardless of the effect on votes, treating those views as anything other than abhorrent is just morally wrong.
It’s a sad fact that throughout history, right-wing movements tend to get infiltrated by anti-semites.
A classic example happened in the 1930s with Oswald Mosley. When he started the British Union of Fascists, it was modeled after Mussolini, who before Hitler came to power, was not anti-semitic. But over time, the anti-semites, folks like William Joyce (Lord Haw Haw) started to take control of the movement, and forced Mosley to go along with it.
Any movement on the right, always has to be on guard, because the anti-semites will always try to burrow into it.
No, very few people praise Hitler.
You are actually accusing me of playing morally superior because I’m troubled that Tucker Carlson put on someone who supports Hitler?
Some people have their heads in their asses and that includes Tucker carlson.
I’ll confess I don’t know the first thing about Nick Fuentes - I assume he’s a “bad faith” actor as Charlie Kirk describes him. I’m not defending Fuentes - I ‘ll assume he’s a liar and doesn’t deserve to be given a platform.
But note that that’s Kirk’s test: whether or not he’s a liar and a “bad faith actor” - not whether he disagrees with the consensus. Apparently Charlie did not consider Tucker Carlson a bad faith actor - as he willingly engaged with him quite often - right up until his death.
I find myself in total disagreement with you on just about everything.
However—I will never accuse you of being immoral or call you names.
I view those as honest disagreements.
Don’t be especially troubled that the right wing gets infiltrated by anti-semites, because the left wing is loaded with anti-semites.
But I understand your point.
But nobody points it out on the left.
Tucker Carlson is "America First", while his critics all seem to put the interests of Israel over America. These are necessarily contradictory positions. These attacks against Tucker Carlson aren't a battle fir the future of the MAGA movement, they are actually a battle to destroy MAGA by the Neocons for control of the Republican Party.
What does the Tucker Carlson controversy look like in the light of the election results last week.
Whether Tucker Carlson is antisemitic is a subject of significant debate and controversy, particularly among Jewish groups, who are financed by foreign aid tax dollars, and by multiple Jewish lobbies demanding more and more US foreign aid tax dollars.
Critics who are Jewish point to specific actions and rhetoric as evidence of antisemitism, while Kirk’s supporters argue he is simply questioning U.S. foreign policy and that Jewish criticism is a “deflection” tactic to maximize US foreign aid.
In September 2025, during a memorial service for Charlie Kirk, Carlson made comments that Jewish lobbies, and aid-financed Israeli media, described as “promoting” antisemitic conspiracy theories.
Comparison of Kirk’s death to the “crucifixion of Jesus” and depiction of individuals plotting to silence Jesus was criticized as invoking harmful blood libel tropes and modern Israeli stereotypes.......centering on Bible teachings that Jews killed the Jesus who came to save them b/c he was an itinerant carpenter and not the royal figure the Jews demanded.
The unpopular Anti-Defamation League (ADL) lobby and other Jewish organizations lobbying vigorously for billions in tax dollars for Israel have, for financial reasons, condemned Carlson, citing instances of language and conspiracy theories that are antisemitic or white supremacist tropes.
Popular examples of “antisemitism” among Jews include Christians blaming Jewish mega-financier George Soros for various societal problems and questioning the patriotism of those who question U.S. support for Israel, citing Jewish dual loyalty.
Carlson and his defenders often frame his questioning of American support for Israel as legitimate foreign policy debate, arguing that labeling such inquiries as “antisemitism” is an attempt to silence valid Christian criticism.
They contend that questioning U.S. government dealings with any foreign country, including Israel, does not inherently make one an anti-semite.......and is actually a responsibility of elected officials.
This assertion is a falsehood.
You want to know who is doing good work?
Conservatives have the same rights as all citizens, including the right to support those they choose to support.
I think this may have something to do with the topic:
Compounding these pressures was a lawsuit filed in March 2023 by Abby Grossberg, a former senior producer on Carlson’s program, who alleged a toxic workplace rife with sexism, antisemitism, and misogynistic comments from Carlson and his team, including derogatory remarks about female colleagues and election-related conspiracy discussions.[89] Grossberg claimed she endured pressure to misrepresent facts in production and described an environment where staff mocked accents and religions, prompting her resignation shortly before filing.[90] Fox News settled the suit for $12 million.
“You are actually accusing me of playing morally superior because I’m troubled that Tucker Carlson put on someone who supports Hitler?”
I am puzzled as to why people refuse to let it go. I don’t know why Carlson did it; I did not watch it, and, percentage wise, very few people have seen it but the deluge of critcism far outweighs any viewship.
I keep asking, where is all the outrage over how many women were raped today, how many illegals murdered someone today, how many people died from on-purposed pills laced with fentanyl, etc.? That interview did did not redirect one electron in this whole universe.
Prayer is always called for. Pray without ceasing.
