There’s a great version of this song with Lake chewing gum enthusiastically while singing. Someone changed the lyrics: Chew wanna play some magic on my guitar … chew wanna be the strings on my guitar, etc. Incredible talent.

I think that was the last cut on the Trilogy album.
There were three organists who inspired me into organ playing: Jimmy Smith, Keith Chapman, and Keith Emerson. If that isn’t a diverse bunch, I don’t know what is.

Greg Lake also wrote one of the Christmas songs that I look forward to hearing every Holiday Season, namely: “I Believe in Father Christmas”.

‘From the Beginning’ is easy to play on the acoustic guitar, so is ‘Still...You Turn Me On.’ Like Pink Floyd’s ‘Wish You Were Here.’ Brilliant songs, fun to play.
The ELP 1974 quadraphonic tour was incredible, stacks of speakers in every corner. The ‘Works I’ tour was notable, with the full orchestra. Yes saved money with their ‘Magnification’ tour (2001). Instead of bringing the orchestra along, they hired local orchestras to play.
RIP Keith Emerson (2014) and Greg Lake (2016). RIP Chris Squire (2015).
