Massie introduced a bill this year to simply shut down the Department of Education, something most Republicans have promised but never done anything about.
The liberty oriented, less government and less spending portion of the electorate is enough to make the difference in elections across the country.
Antagonizing those voters in Kentucky and across the country is just dumb.
Trump has a lot of strong points, but he isn't always right.
And he's dealing with them.

That would be what a smart political party would do. And, since the Republican party has the House, the Senate, and the Presidency they should have already filled the legislative calendar with reform bills, and an actual budget.
But for some reason President Trump would rather attack fellow Republicans and conservatives than Democrats.

Worked with Justin Amash...wanted Amash instead of J. Boehner for speaker..huh? That should be enough. Voted against Stolen Valor Act. He voted with Democrats for a bill which would oppose the declaration of the Southern Border as a national emergency by Trump.
Is for legalized marijuana growing and gun buying rights for weed smokers. Does that lead to heavily armed big “farma” pot growers?
He is so inconsistent in his votes and views, he is completely unreliable to any party. He seems to have a contrarian mindset. No to many laws,but his own, ( closer to NO in 33% of the bills.) Opposed making Israel a strategic partner cause that would help Israels green project’s and Massie doesn’t support any government support of any green project. Opposed 1 billion dollar grant for “iron dome” development. Voted against the Big Beautiful act.
If one is going to be a contrarian...propose better laws that solve problems. I can understand why Trump wants him gone. I did not realize Massie was so inconsistent till reading about his votes. Voted against storm aid in other states because the aid packages are bloated, but voted for aid to Kentucky because since Kentuckians have to pay when other bills are passed, they may as well get their fair share.
If only we could rid ourselves of the antiTrump bots on FR as well ...

Bribe? You DO realize AIPAC is 100% funded by AMERICAN CITIZENS. Don’t you? And that $53 million is a tiny drop in the bucket compared to the 3,000 million spent by just the presidential candidates?
Do you object to people donating to Trump’s campaign? Or to senator’s campaigns? US citizens have EVERY right to donate money to US candidates. Or is it only Jews who cannot?

I have an advantage over you in that I’ve taken part in mock attacks on navy vessels in F-4s and F-111s. I know, beyond any doubt, that ID is very difficult at 450+ knots and 100’! You cannot see flags, etc. The USS Liberty was a mistake - one that US pilots have made many times.
