How CATL Made Batteries 90% Cheaper (And What Happens Next) [14:19]

How CATL Made Batteries 90% Cheaper (And What Happens Next). What if I told you the world's largest battery company just announced batteries that cost as low as $10 per kilowatt hour? Not $100. Ten. And the kicker? They're using salt. Yes, the same stuff sitting on your kitchen table. But CATL makes more lithium batteries than anyone else on the planet. They're literally winning the lithium game. So why are they suddenly pivoting to a technology that's been considered second-rate for decades? No technical papers. No detailed explanations. Just bold claims and two new products ready to hit the market. So is this the real deal that changes everything? Or are we looking at tech hype that’s too salty to swallow?

I generally avoid Chinese stocks. Also hospitality/transportation stocks (hotels, resorts, casinos, cruise lines, airlines, railroads), ‘vices’ (alcohol, smokes, and in particular pot; really anything that’s gotta chase margins because of good substitutes — gasoline, grocery retailing, etc), and, sometimes, stocks that turn out to have been very good buys for other people. 😁

‘The stock market does not seem to be super enthusiastic yet.’

It’s up around 30% this year and about doubled in 2 years - not bad!

But it’s not traded in any of the US exchanges (only China and HK), otherwise I would get some.

10 minutes charging...as long as no other people are expecting 10 minute charging in the same area.

If I understand this correctly, this is all in China—and the CCP controls everything in China.

U.S.-traded Chinese companies still operate under weaker reporting and audit standards than U.S. firms. Many use offshore shell structures (VIEs) that obscure true ownership and financial transparency, much like U.S. markets before the reforms of 1933–34.

Genuine investing demands rigorous, empirical examination of each target. Anything less isn’t investing—it’s speculation, and speculation is gambling.

“Breaking news” from Matt Ferrell, a long time sucker of every green propaganda. In other words, yet another one of his fakenews garbage.
