The cow held up traffic Wednesday when it was spotted along the median of Interstate 79, near Cranberry Township and Evans City in Butler County.
Well, most cows are spotted, so how is that news, and why would anyone be surprised to see a spotted cow grazing, and just minding its own business?

When I was a teenager and was hiking a mountaintop section of the Appalachian Trail not far from Port Clinton PA, I was surprised to run across a yearling Holstein Cow in a ticket of small trees. We heard it before we saw it an sort of stalked it thinking it was a deer. It was a big surprise to us and the cow. It took off down the north side of the ridge.
