Oct. 9 (UPI) -- A mystery cow found wandering loose on a Pennsylvania highway was successfully roped by a man on horseback, but the bovine's origins remain unknown.
The cow held up traffic Wednesday when it was spotted along the median of Interstate 79, near Cranberry Township and Evans City in Butler County.

Maybe the cow is a zombie. Evans City was the filming site of arguably the most famous zombie cult movie of all time. Who can name it?
Was he wearing a signboard that read “EAT MOR CHICKN”?
On a more serious note, I thought all livestock in the US has to be tagged and registered with the USDA for health and safety issues.
The cow should have an ear tag or two, which would indicate where she belonged.

When I was a teenager and was hiking a mountaintop section of the Appalachian Trail not far from Port Clinton PA, I was surprised to run across a yearling Holstein Cow in a ticket of small trees. We heard it before we saw it an sort of stalked it thinking it was a deer. It was a big surprise to us and the cow. It took off down the north side of the ridge.
