Thank you for posting that. As an outsider, I had thought that Mamdani was getting the red-carpet treatment.

This sounds like more of a way to resurrect Cuomo, which makes much more sense.

Adams dropped out, BUT he waited too long because his name will still be on the ballot. Which may be a Machiavellian move on his part just to be a spoiler. Which means he could still get 1-3% of the votes even though he has dropped out.
Meaning he did it just to screw things up. Resulting in Mandami elected.

Good post, yours. I agree. Mamdani will fail, if for no other reason than socialism always fails.

But nothing will be learned. Nothing. As you noted, the average New Yorker will just shuffle along, and do the best he can. The mainstream media will cover for Mamdani, and simply not report his failures.

And so New York will just be added to the list of failed US cities, right up there with Chicago.
