Is there any indication what people they polled?
It’s can’t be Rep or Dem and doesn’t look like Ind, either.
Have there been any serious candidates announcing to challenge Massie in the primary?
Every day Massie does something to protect the Constitution and rule of law.
That’s more than can be said for most of Congress. Most are contemptuous of the Constitution.
Tome, polls remind me of the book once published titled “How to Lie with Statistics”. Poll results depend on who you and where you poll.
Now do accomplishments!π€
Presented without explaination just like those from anyone who wants to deceive you.
The poll question was: 'Do you have a positive or negative image of the following politicians?'
The information represents name: %positive image : %negative image : net difference between %positive vs negative image.
The unexplained information about the polling, is that for massie, the % of people that don't know about him is ( 100 - (27+9) ) = %64
which means massie is a nobody, that few know or care enough about to care to have any appreciable opinion of him
I asked all of my friends and fellow patrons at a bar and they all voted for me and NOT Thomas Massie.
Someone should tell Hochul...
Whenever I see a baseball statistic used to quantify a players greatness, to determine if the statistic is a true measure, I look at the other players who rank high. When I look at this poll I canβt help but notice who else ranks high. Iβm not sure this poll expresses any praise for Massie.
You continue to be a turd in the FR punch bowl. However, no one here is drinking the kool-aide.
I’m not a Democrat and I like him he isn’t bought by the billionaires like Bill Ackman like the other Republicans are.
Better than Obama with a 3-1 positive margin.
The low numbers stand out like a sore thumb.
A more accurate representation would be:
Positive: 27%
Negative: 9%
IDK or IDGAF: 64%
I have near zero faith in polls these days.
"It is no surprise that Massie is a favorite of the democrats."
Massie is at the top of the pile!
27-9 indicates he is not very well known, but liked by those who know him. That makes sense insofar as he is known for opposing the misuse of taxpayer funds and government power. Unlike most politicians it is hard to argue he is in someone’s pocket when he’s one of very few not pillaging taxpayers for this or that group in power. So while the pillagers don’t like him, the larger group of taxpayers not feeding at the government trough find relief in him. May his number multiply.
Who were the βtheyβ who took the poll?
βThe only thing I know about Massie was that he was against spending so much money on deportations.β
I agree with his thinking. It is very costly to ship them out a plane load at a time, to their own country or a country of their choosing. Instead, we should dump them off in Mexico. Since Mexico enabled their entry by allowing them passage, let Mexico deal with getting them home or wherever.
There is no cost too great to remove illegals. Massie is a libertarian I think so it makes sense that he supports the great replacement
