New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge hit a home run in his first at bat of the game -- his 45th of his spectacular season -- to put the Yankees on top early, 1-0.
Aaron Judge hit a home run in the first inning.
President Trump shook hands with Judge in the Yankees clubhouse before the game and told him that he's a "fantastic player."

Wouldn’t have even reached the fence at the old Yankee Stadium — or even the “not so old” Yankee Stadium.
Is he eight feet tall?
CAREER HOME RUN NO. 361 🤯
Aaron Judge goes yard for the SECOND time tonight and ties Joe DiMaggio for the fourth-most home runs in Yankees history 🤝 pic.twitter.com/JySi5VyMEV— Sportsnet (@Sportsnet) September 12, 2025
The Trump Effect! It’s very powerful and can work in either direction - for or against an individual.
Judge is 6’7”
Judge is 6’7
He’s also ripped but Trump tall too
Maybe camera angle
It was a 434 foot blast to left-center. When the real Stadium closed in ‘08, the fence out there was 408. In the ‘80s, it was 430, so he still would’ve cleared it. But yeah, in the days when the Yanks were winning titles by the dozens, Death Valley was closer to 500 feet.
I hope George got them to wear cotton uniforms.
Very true
Sorry — the article at the top said it was 413 feet.

Judge homers again, tying Joe DiMaggio with Trump looking on
By Samuel Chamberlain
At this rate, President Trump will be asked to come back for every Yankees game until the season ends.
Aaron Judge hits his second solo home run in as many at-bats after shaking hands with the president in the clubhouse before the game.
This home run — Judge’s 46th of the season and a 434-foot shot — gives the Yankees a 4-1 lead in the bottom of the third.
It is also Judge’s 361st career home run, tying him with Joe DiMaggio on the all-time list.
No prob — the Post was a bit off. Stanton hit one 429 in the same inning, but his exit velo seemed higher. Typical missile by him.
#47 Coming up!
Why is a baseball player so tall?
Ahh.... But you’re forgetting about all the inside the park home runs that people used to hit in those days, because the outfields were so much bigger.
If I’m not mistaken, the majority of Ty Cobb’s home runs were inside the park.
