Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in US men, excluding skin cancer, and the second-leading cause of male cancer deaths, after lung cancer.
One in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, and about 3% of men will die from it.
Early-stage prostate cancer often has no warning signs because the tumor is small and hasn’t spread — a PSA test can help detect potential problems before symptoms develop.
September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Here’s what you should know about updates to screening guidelines, advances in treatment and the one diet that may help prevent it.

Not without dinner and a lot of drinks first.
Focal therapy, sounds like a winner. SIGN ME UP.. Chemo is a killer of strength, hormone therapy takes away what makes you a man.
After getting a DRE I commented to the dr that I couldn’t understand how anyone could like that. He responded that he had had to tell a few patients that he would no longer see them because they were enjoying the exam too much. Ick.
What is your treatment?
Thankful that your prognosis is ‘excellent’! 🙏🏻
Ivermectin and FenBen have been proven to work for prostate cancers.
Here is one protocol, with results ... Dr Wm Makis, for a recurrent case ...
My Take…
In late January 2025 we started:
Ivermectin 1.5mg/kg/day
Fenbendazole 888mg/day
CBD Oil 100mg/day
Oncologist: ADT early January 2025
Rad Onc: SBRT Radiotherapy in late February 2025 for pelvic lymph node metastasis
Results after 4 months:
PSA undetectable < 0.01
See post 25.
“Can but doesn’t always. The digital check is also necessary. My husband’s PSAs were normal but the digital detected a slight difference which got biopsied which showed cancer. All contained within the gland but still there.
As annoying as the digital is ... just do it.”
No digital check for me. They sent me to an imaging center for an MRI. Had about eight total scans. Meeting with Dr. tomorrow to see what they reveal.
Except it wasn't. That's what I'm saying. The PSA picked up nothing, the digital did.
I'm just telling you my husband's experience. Not here to fight with anyone. But if the digital had not occurred his cancerous prostate would still be up inside him.
Thank you, is CBD the stuff that makes you high” I did Rick Simpson oil and I had hallucinations, dry heaves and stumbled. I cut back the dosage from a grain of rice size, to 4 separate dosages.. I was high AF. I quit smoking grass when my wife first got pregnant in 1974, and avoid it like the plague.. or plaque.
I had digital checks twice, went to the Hospital, they checked me for Mesothelioma. I turned out to have mets to bones. Nothing in the prostate. Just ribs and shoulder.
I read on Joe Tippens blog (he’s the one who was first famously reported cured from his mets lung and liver cancer, w/FenBen) that it can be the broad spectrum hemp cbd oil (NO, or less than .01% thc).
I think the kind that makes you high is full spectrum/higher levels of thc.
Someone who knows more about the CBD oils that make you high can please chime in on any differences.
CBD, I remember now, I have a dropper for my now deceased dog. It worked for fireworks and as he progressed into arthritis. 72 yo, chemo brain... I remember things, but don’t recall them on command like a young person anymore.
I was just in for a physical. Sorry to disappoint for you who enjoy it, but doctors are quitting the finger up the tailpipe. It has no statistical benefit in detection.
When having a digital exam, always make sure the Doctor doesn’t have both hands on your hips...
The PSA is important to track. The PSA is a chemical the prostrate adds to the sperm. It softens the wall of the egg to allow a sperm in. The PSA also softens the walls of prostate cells if the PSA count gets too high. That translates to a faster spread of the cancer.
Proton radiation therapy worked for me. Worse side effect was loose stools.
