Country singer Bryan Martin was “forcibly” yanked from the stage after causing a ruckus during a concert in upstate New York.
The crooner, 37, was mid-performance at the Schaghticoke Fairgrounds, about 30 minutes from Albany, when he began to display “signs of intoxication and erratic behavior,” according to the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO).
“Deputies and event staff attempted to assist Mr. Martin offstage, but due to his impaired state, he became resistant and had to be forcibly escorted out,” read the statement, which was posted on Facebook Saturday.
In a Facebook video of the ordeal, the “Wolves Cry” singer can be seen shouting as police officers made their way toward him. He was then carried away from the venue.
After the concert, the musician apologized to fans in a heartfelt message on social media.
“Sorry I let yall down tonight… truth is I’m not ok…” Martin wrote on Instagram. “Been hitting it hard for a while and haven’t took time to be honest with myself about my mental health and it’s nothing new to struggle with my anxiety and depression.”
“But I’ve had a weight on my heart lately that’s Been heavy and accumulating with time and I let myself and my fans down by not addressing them and getting help and pretending it was all gonna just go away.”
The singer admitted that he misses his children when he’s on the road.

Don’t you think your mental health advice is a little extreme?😱
Country singer drunk...? Aren’t their songs about beer, whiskey, trucks and their girl leaving them?
honestly sounds like an authentic performance
In his apology, I think he may have just written his next song…..
“Deputies and event staff attempted to assist Mr. Martin offstage, but due to his impaired state, he became resistant and had to be forcibly escorted out,”
-
An intoxicated person was belligerent?.......that almost never happens.
This sounds reminiscent of the 2009 Jeff Bridges movie “Crazy Heart”.
-
For anyone who hasn’t seen it I highly recommend.
The price of going to concerts has really skyrocketed. However, they are “like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get.” - F. Gump.
Appears to be a troubled individual.
“The road is a dangerous place man, you can die out here, or worse.”
-Johnny Paycheck to me, Reno, 1980.
That's mostly the case, although sometimes they sing about nuclear war, space travel, Russia, espionage and auto racing.
Who cares? Waah, you get to earn a bunch of money and be quasi famous, so sad. Get a different job if you want to be home more. No one is forcing you to do what you are doing. People walk away.
A country singer with an alcohol problem?
What are the odds!?
For the youngins out there Jim Morrison was the lead singer of the 60's group, The Doors.
I don’t understand why folks are criticizing Mr. Martin.
By appearing drunk in public, he is merely following the fine example set by our former vice president, the revered Kamala Harris.
My impression of most country music involves at least one of the following events:
1. My woman / man left me
2. My dog died
3. My pickup truck broke down
4. I lost my job
I was talking to two medical assistant young ladies.
They had never heard of Valerie Bertinelli, Eddie Van Halen, or John Elway.
Oh well, I’ve never heard of Bryan Martin.
Well, I was drunk the day my mom got out of prison
And I went to pick her up in the rain
But before I could get to the station in my pickup truck
She got run over by a damned old train
What are the odds!?

About 150 out of 100 would be my estimate.
You beat me to it. The perfect country song once he added that verse.
I recall my mom telling me about seeing Hank Jr. at Red Rocks back in the late 70s. He staggered out totally wasted, slurred through a medley of his greatest hits for about 20 minutes, and then stumbled off the stage.
Probably can't pull that stuff today. With concert tickets priced the way they are, people would be filing class-action lawsuits.
