Most gun owners?
What, they surveyed the CNN audience?
NPR at it again. I won’t miss them.
Define ‘modest restrictions’
Same old propaganda. What just happened in Minnesotastan echoes the 1989 Stockton incident, and the response from the left is virtually identical.
Get some new talking points, lefties. C’mon, you’ve had 36 years.
I favor no restrictions.
> a new NPR/Ipsos survey finds <
Oh, so it’s NPR. What did they do, call every registered member of the California Democrat Party?
Anyway, liberals just love to do surveys. They’ll talk on and on.
But most conservatives will just hang up. We’ve got better things to do. Work on the truck. Maintain the house. Clean our rifles.
Do these NPR writers have any self awareness at all?
A CT and CA gun grabbing RINOs?
That’s the sample?
I dont think private citizens should be allowed to have nuclear weapons, cruise missiles or mustard gas. Beyond that, none of my business.
Nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction should be regulated, but after that, no restrictions.
Those are my “modest” restrictions.
Also, if one is not currently in the system (prison or parole), their second amendment rights should not be infringed. If society is worried about them having a weapon, keep them incarcerated.
This article is in the running for most useless article about guns this year.
There are already 20,000 "modest"gun laws/restrictions in the USA.
How many more "modest" gun laws/restrictions do we need?
“The overwhelming majority of gun owners are in favor of universal background checks, of raising the minimum age to buy guns to 21 and so-called “red flag” laws to remove guns from potentially dangerous people, a new NPR/Ipsos survey finds.”
Absolute BS propaganda.
“I do support that [an assault-style weapons ban] because I think that we should be protecting our kids,” said poll participant Lizzie...”
Lizzie, you are stupid.
Lies...damned lies...statistics!
The only modest restriction I have is keep your Nazi fingers off my Bill of Rights and any firearms I may have access to. Go do something about the retarded trannies you are flying wingman for. They are crazies shooting up our schools.
Die NPR. Your existence can’t go away fast enough.
So much horse sh**
Do you favor mall Santas passing out weapons to every child visiting him or would you prefer a modest restriction on that? Susan, here’s an AR-15. And Lucy, you’re small so here’s a Glock. (For Narnia fans 🙂)
There were 32 Republican candidates running for a state Senate seat and 127 candidates running for a state House seat.
Of these, 7 Senate (GOP) candidates have a “C”, “D”, or “F” rating from the NRA and 16 “?” rating, meaning they did not bother to return their NRA questionnaire or have made contradictory statements regarding gun rights. Only 9 Senate candidates out of 32 have a pro-Second Amendment stance.
But the House numbers were even worse.
12 Republican candidates for a House seat either have a mixed voting record or are openly hostile to the concept of US citizens exercising their 2nd Amendment rights, and a whopping 70 are “indifferent” at best.
Democrat candidates with a poor NRA rating are at least being consistent with their Party’s anti-gun rights/Socialist platform. But Republicans should be standing for basic Constitutional principles. Sad.
