I don’t drink much wine, but you COULD tempt me with the Australian or Chilean Reds, for sure.
Australia: Shiraz
Chile: Cabernet Sauvignon
Neither are terribly expensive ($12-$20) and can be easily found at a Big Box Liquor Store, which is where I found the two varieties above, just by asking a VERY knowledgeable worker. Always look for the oldest man or woman working when you’re there. ;)
(I do the same when I need help at the Hardware Store.)

Love California’s Red Wines - daughter and SIL are members of two wineries in Napa-Sonoma and it’s always a pleasure to go there.
Unfortunately, I do get headaches from red wine and it puts me to sleep almost immediately, so two small glasses is my limit.
