Cracker Barrel caved Tuesday after receiving massive backlash, announcing it would bring back its classic logo, according to Fox’s Bret Baier.
In a post to X on Tuesday evening, the company stated that the new logo would be “going away.”
“We thank our guests for sharing your voices and love for Cracker Barrel. We said we would listen, and we have. Our new logo is going away and our ‘Old Timer’ will remain,” the statement read. “At Cracker Barrel, it’s always been – and always will be – about serving up delicious food, warm welcomes, and the kind of country hospitality that feels like family. As a proud American institution, our 70,000 hardworking employees look forward to welcoming you to our table soon.”

The food is not fine. It’s good but not as good. Our last two visits at different locations proved that.
Both times they unforgivably ran out of biscuits and cornbread. Yea, their staples that are served with every single meal.
Not ran out so they’ll be ready in a few minutes but ran out so we never got them.
Probably only polled her family and friends.
Can’t believe they caved to a “vocal minority,” LOL.
The logo isn’t the issue - well, it’s a small part of it. Its the wokeism, DEI, LGQWERTY+/- and all that other leftist claptrap that is the problem.
Well that’ll save them a ton of money by not having to replace the signs.

Cracker Barrel found itself at odds with its fans after removing “Uncle Herschel” from its logo. The company unveiled its revamped text-only design, sparking backlash and sinking its stock price.
The original 1969 logo was also text-only, but the 1977 addition of the now-iconic imagery became a staple of its branding.
this is so stupid. these companies will still support and do things for their preferred causes, just more in secret, so they can keep sucking up the publics dollars.
the public needs to get serious and not just make their voice (and choice of places to spend their money) heard once in a while, but daily!
Like a good preacher told me, sataan doesn’t come around and tempt once a month or once a week even, it’s daily, or more often.
American’s are still too soft, self focused, and distracted by all our excesses.
Cracker Barrel and most places don’t even serve nutritious food, yet people pile in daily for a belly full of crap! most is laden with additives and chemicals, prepared in ways the body can’t benefit from, or high sodium, unhealthy fats, etc.
Evil intention is still evil, even if it appeases you on occasion.
If anyone is letting Jesus be Lord, they will plead that He give them strength to make wiser choices.

I’ve been to CB once, and wasn’t impressed. If you can’t get breakfast right, people won’t come back. I sure didn’t go back.
IMHO the the WOKE mindset and agenda driving the "Rebranding" is the issue.
The changing of the logo and signage is an external manifestation of that - an action that reveals their true intent.
It is just another example of the left's ongoing effort to kill our traditions and history -
To pry us loose from philosophies and ideas that stymie their attempts to replace our culture and belief system.
Yet - in the ones around us, if you try to get in one during the lunch hour, the parking lots are full and there’s lines going outside the building...I believe that there has been a slowdown since the original decision by the ditz they put in charge...they should use her name instead of saying “Cracker Barrel decides...”
Far from home and not a gourmet, I don’t have to suffer strange foods.
I don’t like that the parking lots are always very full, but there are no surprises.
I wish I’d known about their trade in free cassettes years earlier.
I never cared either way about the logo.
