ANCHORAGE, AK — Peace negotiations to end the war in Ukraine were reportedly off to a bad start after President Donald Trump accidentally ripped Russian President Vladimir Putin's arm off with a super macho handshake.
"Oh, wow! I'm so strong. I tried to tell you, Vlad. I tried to tell you, but you wouldn't listen," witnesses heard Trump say. "My hands are just so large and manly. Not like other hands. Not that you have to worry about them anymore. To tell you the truth, I did you a favor."
According to witnesses, the incident occurred as Trump came out to greet Putin on the tarmac at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. Senior officials reported being in awe as Trump appeared to gently take Putin's hand and rip it off with a casual shake of the arm.
Trump was reportedly unapologetic following the encounter, though he said he wishes Putin well. "You can tell a lot about a man by their handshake, and Vlad, oh boy, Vlad, he doesn't have a very good one. I hate to say it, but it's true. I tried to lower myself to his level and use about 10% force. It's true, just 10% of what I'm capable of. But it was enough," Trump said at a brief press event while Putin was rushed to the hospital. "I wish him well. 'Vladdy,' I told him, 'you spend too much time with malnourished Russians. You gotta' eat your vegetables and have your steak well-done with lots of ketchup.' It's what men do."
The Russian president was rushed to the on-base hospital, where he was treated for severe blood loss with a blood transfusion. His arm is currently on ice pending surgery once his condition is stabilized.
At publishing time, doctors reported that Vladimir Putin's arm was reattached successfully, though he would never be able to ride on the back of his pet bear ever again.

Is that all? I thought Trump would invite Putin to play golf, and then make Putin carry his own clubs while Trump rides a cart. In retaliation, Putin would strip off his shirt and ride a grizzly bear. They’d make up over dinner, where Trump would take an extra scoop of ice cream and Putin would guzzle a quart of vodka and dare Trump to take a drink.
I read in the Daily Mail Putin was wearing an ecoskeleton.
But the unusual movements was seized by eagle-eyed Ukrainians, who ridiculed the 72-year-old’s fidgeting and speculated about the state of his health. They even claimed he wore a 'light exoskeleton' as well as thick-platform shoes to overcome his 'Napoleon complex' and minimise his height difference with the US president. An exoskeleton is wearable robotic device designed to assist or augment the posture of the person wearing it.
I know for certain that Putin is suffering from multiple terminal illinesses.
I know it for certain because it has been reported by those "in the know" here on FR.
Trade Putin for French President Macron, and it doesn’t sound too farfetched. For his own reasons, Trump always overdoes the showy Macho handshake when he is greeting Macron
But it is undeniable implicit threat that if Trump choose to, he could flip the balance of power in the Ukraine conflict decisively in the favor of Ukraine with just the 4 F-22s, the 4 F-35s and the one single B-2 bomber that were on display.
Subtle message to anyone who knows what they were seeing - the US can detach and deploy enough of it's air power assets capable of defeating a very good sized military force for a simple color guard fly over and ramp presence without blinking an eye.
Could be, but I doubt it. Putin got the red carpet treatment, but it appeared to me to be only about 18 inches wide compared to Trump's ~5 foot wide red carpet.
The narrow red carpet was symbolic of the path Putin and Russia is going to be walking all alone if Russia spurns Trumps overtures of normalization of relations and economic cooperation.
But if Putin gets with the Trump program and joins the President's agenda he and Russia will be walking the wide red carpet with very powerful and very capable allies.
That was not just the message sent to Putin but also to the 100 plus Russian business people and Putin backers that Putin must satisfy and keep happy and aligned with effort to end the debacle in Ukraine.
The show of force with the F-22s, the F-35s and the B-2 bomber was more to impress and encourage Putin's entourage than Putin himself Trump is working the Ukraine peace issue at a lot of different levels to make this thing a success.
Hopefully, Putin convinces his backers of the wisdom of this course of action and chooses Rusia to walk the wide red carpet with Team USA
